Brand-New ‘Bluey’ Episodes Now Available!

Ten brand-new episodes of Bluey have made their way to Disney+ today–for real life–and fans won’t want to miss a single one.

When Bluey debuted in Australia in 2018, from the mind of Australian animator and Bluey creator Joe Brumm, ABC Children (the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, of course), BBC Studios Kids, and executive producer Daley Pearson, no one–not even the creators and producers of the hit children’s program–could have guessed the show would enjoy the popularity it has enjoyed so far. Bluey was the #1 most-watched children’s series in the United States in 2023, and for good reason!

Part of the success of Bluey, which is considered a children’s educational series, is its different approach to education as compared with other children’s programs. There are very few letters in episodes of the show, and no reading is required. Bluey also features no numbers and no counting. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t educational.

Instead of using run-of-the-mill elements to teach kids various pre-Kindergarten concepts, each Bluey episode about the Heeler family–Bluey, a delightful blue heeler, her little sister Bingo, and her mum and dad, Chilli and Bandit–feature examples of imaginative play and also exhibit the daily happenings between members of Bluey’s family.

Both of these elements serve to encourage social skills and imaginative play, and as children (and adults) watch the show, they are introduced to what it means to be a member of a family, among other things.

Though experts think they’ve finally discovered what makes Bluey so popular, and some have even opined about the surprise benefit enjoyed by those who watch the show, every fan of the children’s program has different reasons behind their affinity for the show.

On Thursday, ABC’s Good Morning America shared a short preview video of the new episodes of Bluey that dropped today. The video gave fans a tiny taste of what’s in store for Bluey and her family in ten brand-new episodes that have already been seen in Bluey’s native Australia, but are debuting for the first time in the United States today.

Fans who want to see the second set of episodes from the third season of Bluey can watch them today on the Disney+ streaming platform. Per DisneyPlus.com, the following episodes debut today on Disney+ and will debut on Disney Channel and Disney Junior later in the year:
