After Three Smash-Hit Seasons, It’s Time to Say Goodbye To “Bluey”

Millions of children (and their parents) are going to be devastated by this news.

Back in 2018, Bluey, a wholesome Australian animated show, premiered on ABC Kids. Five years later, it is one of the biggest children’s shows in the world.

Bluey is an animated series that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, becoming a favorite among children and adults alike. Fans in the United States have raced to Disney+ to watch the show. Bluey follows the lives of the Heeler family, which consists of Bluey, her younger sister, Bingo, and their parents, Bandit and Chilli. Each episode of Bluey focuses on extraordinary adventures, imaginative play, and essential conversations that reflect real-life situations. The show has gained a reputation for its relatable and heartwarming portrayal of family life.

Bluey has been slowly dropping episodes of their third season. The second part of the season just landed on Disney+ on July 12. Even with the rest of the episodes coming later this year, fans are very eager to know when season four will begin production. Once fans watch this season’s 50th and final episode, they will be already impatient for more.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Bluey season four is coming as soon as hoped.

In a recent interview with the Courier Mail, Bluey’s executive producer, Daley Pearson, broke the news that is shattering the hearts of fans. When asked on when season four is in the works, Pearson revealed;

“It’s been four or five years and we’ve made 154 episodes. It is kind of unprecedented to do that back-to-back. It was very intense … We are just coming to the end of season three, and trying to think about what’s the best way to make it better… The more we ask ourselves, the longer it will be, which is why I hesitate talking about it too much.”

While it is sad to know that we will have to say goodbye to Bluey for a while, it is good to know that the show’s creative team cares so much about producing quality episodes. This show is truly incredible, and the wait will surely be worth it!
