Announced at this year’s D23 was a lot of exciting updates coming to Epcot. From more information on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to announcing a Mary Poppins-themed “Cherry Tree Lane” Neighborhood coming to the United Kingdom pavilion, we had a lot of information to process for this theme park.

However, the most exciting had to be hearing that the Epcot displays from D23 were going to arrive at Epcot later this year for all guests to enjoy.

“Walt Disney Imagineering Presents The Epcot Experience” officially opened at Epcot, allowing guests to visualize all of the exciting plans for Epcot at a new experience center in the Odyssey Events Pavilion.

Inside this first-of-its-kind offering within a Disney park, guests can discover engaging and interactive exhibits that allow them to step inside the relentless innovation, energy and excitement and see some never-before-revealed details driving the future of Epcot all throughout this unprecedented period of transformation.

Tickets On Sale For New Cirque du Soleil Show in Spring 2020

The previous show ended forever in anticipation for the newly developed show for Walt Disney World. The new production still doesn’t have an official name, but it will be inspired by the magic of Disney animation with collaboration between Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Imagineering and Cirque du Soleil. The show is currently set to open for previews on March 20th, 2020 and then will officially premiere on April 17th, 2020.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “The show will celebrate the art of animation through the magic of storytelling in a way that only Cirque du Soleil can deliver while paying homage to the craftsmanship that makes Disney animation special and unique. Guests will be delighted and transported into the world of animation through original acrobatic performances, dazzling choreography, musical masterpieces and whimsical characters bringing our Disney stories and characters to life in an unforgettable way.”

New Cirque Du Soleil Show Coming to Disney Springs

A new Cirque du Soleil show is coming to Disney Springs. The news was just announced at the D23 Expo, that for the first time, Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios have joined forces with Cirque du Soleil to create a show. The show will combine Disney storytelling and heart with Cirque du Soleil’s signature artistry.

Previews will begin March 20, 2020 and the world premiere will be on April 17 at Disney Springs!

Disney Imagineering Shares a First-Look at Disney Skyliner Costumes

The Disney Skyliner, which is just about a month away from opening, will transport guests high above the Walt Disney World Resort from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

But guests won’t be the only ones flying in style when Disney Skyliner opens. Our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) just shared the first sneak peek at the stylish new costumes Disney Skyliner cast members will don with the system opens on September 29.

WDI partnered with Costuming to design new mid-century modern costumes that were inspired by the travel system’s color scheme and the curved shape of the Skyliner cabins.
