Guests felt “verbally harassed” by Cast Members at Disney Park who appeared to taunt and stalk them

Just after Thanksgiving, two Guests were visiting the Disneyland Resort in California when they suddenly began to experience a not-so-magical–and unwanted–exchange with two Cast Members.

The two Guests visited Disneyland on November 29 and began to live-stream their adventures in the Disney Park. A Guest, who remained anonymous during an interview about that day at Disneyland, (we’ll call this Guest Minnie) and a friend named Jessie (@heyjessiejessie on TikTok) took to the Disney theme park to enjoy the day and live-stream their experiences, each on their respective TikTok accounts.

The two usually visit the theme parks and look for friends of theirs who are Disneyland Cast Members.

“My friend and I have a passion for live-streaming for hours on TikTok for our followers, especially those who are around the world, can’t attend the Disney parks, or are planning their next trip,” Jessie explained during an interview. “We both enjoy live-streaming as it brings joy and happiness to our followers.”

But during Jessie’s friend’s live-stream, comments began to come in from two Cast Members that were unknown to “Minnie” and to Jessie. Attempts to ignore the comments didn’t help, as the comments continued to flood the TikTokkers.

“It was nothing inappropriate, but they just continued to spam us for two hours,” “Minnie” explained.

Soon Jessie and “Minnie” learned that the two Cast Members who were spamming them online are siblings. The brother was working at the parks that day, and the other sibling was not on duty but continued to comment on the friends’ live-stream on TikTok.

“One of the siblings who was not on duty kept jumping back and forth to both my friend and I’s live stream insisting to meet up with his brother who was on duty at the Disney Park,” the friends said.

Comments that flooded the Tiktokkers’ live-stream videos included questions like, “Are you going to meet my brother?” and promises like “I can get you in the front of the line.”

The continued comments left the two friends feeling uneasy, and they simply responded by politely declining any offers to meet or to “get in the front of the line.”

Hours later, toward the end of their evening after the theme park had already closed to Guests, “Minnie” and Jessie began making their way back to their vehicles as “Minnie” ended her live-stream. Jessie, however, continued to live-stream, even though they were returning to their cars.

But according to Jessie, the strange Cast Member behavior didn’t end there:

“When the park closed, we were at the parking structure, and my friend had to go to the restroom. I was still live-streaming on TikTok with 400 viewers and I was having a great time communicating with my followers. I noticed a comment and they said that they want to meet me and say hello before I leave. I said sure and it happened to be the brother who was on duty and insisted on meeting up with him. I did not know it was him or else I would have said no on meeting up for a quick hello.”

According to Jessie, the Cast Member was still in his Disneyland costume during the exchange. He further acknowledged to Jessie that he wasn’t supposed to be there where Jessie and “Minnie” were, saying that if he were caught, he could be reprimanded.

“We quickly said hello and our goodbyes,” Jessie further explained.

The two friends thought it best for “Minnie” to go on to her vehicle while Jessie stayed back to interact with the Cast Member who seemed so intent on meeting up.

“I told [Minnie] to pick me up as soon as she hopped in her car,” Jessie said.

During the Cast Member interaction in the parking structure, comments continued about getting Jessie into Lightning Lane attractions, etc. Per Jessie, the Cast Member asked questions like “Why didn’t you meet up with me?”

Jessie says that he was shaking, as the situation was nerve-wracking. “I started taking a few steps to the car since my friend was not driving and [the Cast Member] also was following me from behind.”

“Minnie” arrived to pick up Jessie, but even this didn’t stop the behaviors. Instead, the Cast Member comments and questions continued, even through the window of the vehicle in which the Guests were attempting to drive away.

In an interview, “Minnie” shared that it was at this point in the whole ordeal that she began to feel “verbally harassed.”

To make matters worse, Jessie and “Minnie” shared that there was a smaller-than-usual security presence in the parking structure where they had left their vehicles and where they were approached by the Cast Members who continued talking at them through the vehicle windows.

As they drove home, Jessie says the day finally got to “Minnie.”

“My friend (Minnie) started crying [about] how uncomfortable she felt as they were insisting on meeting up with them and how they both tracked us down during my live-stream on TikTok all the way to the parking structure,” Jessie explained in an interview. “We no do not feel safe going solo to the Parks as of now and live-streaming all the way to our car as we are getting recognized more and more at the Disney Parks because of our social media platforms.”

The two did speak with Guest Relations and have also spoken to several Cast Members about what they were subjected to at the Disneyland Resort that day and have been assured that the proper actions will be taken to make things right, up to and including involving the Anaheim Police Department in the mix if necessary.

“Minnie” further shared that since that day, she has seen what she sees as an increase in security presence at the Disneyland Resort theme parks, which gives her a safer feeling about being there. She shared her love for the Disney Park and for the Cast Members, but she shared her story to make others aware that these kinds of things can happen to anyone, anywhere, even at a place as happy as the Disneyland Resort.

Girl Brightens Cast Members’ Days By Handing Out Flowers

A lot of people seem to think that working at a Disney theme park might be one of the best jobs in the world. However, dealing with Guests every day who are hot, tired, overstimulated, and maybe annoyed at a problem they are dealing with can be a lot. Cast Members can sometimes be subjected to abuse from Guests that they absolutely do not deserve. Being a Cast Member is hard work, and always trying to keep the magic alive can be somewhat challenging.

One young girl and her family, however, are determined to show Cast Members just how important and appreciated they are. Miss Ellie Honeybee is an adorable young girl who has won awards for her incredible cosplay. For those who may be unfamiliar, cosplay is a portmanteau of “costume play” where people wear incredibly accurate costumes to represent specific characters.

Ellie loves visiting Disneyland Resort with her family and wearing impressive costumes. Ellie has dressed as characters such as Scarlett Witch, Loki, Princess Anna, the Haunted Mansion’s Constance Hatchaway, and more. In addition to the accessories to complete her costumes, there is one thing Ellie also never goes to the theme parks without — a lot of carnations.

Ellie walks up to various Cast Members in the Parks and hands them the flowers to thank them for all the work that they do. The Cast Members are usually caught unawares and the small gesture of kindness really makes their day.

You can watch just one of Ellie’s many adorable videos below.

Ellie is very active on social media and has over 5,000 followers on TikTok, which is impressive for any kid, but it is her TikTok following that is really getting her noticed. Miss Ellie Honeybee as she is known on social media platforms has over 98,000 followers on TikTok and her videos have amassed over 3.2 million likes. Wife is determined to set sail with Mickey Whatever It Takes

Griff wants everyone to know what it’s like being married to a “Disney girl,” as if his Mickey Mouse t-shirt doesn’t already scream, “I’ve been indoctrinated in the ways of Disney fandom!”

this Girl has so many Disney Minnie ears…FYI – She makes these herself and it’s actually pretty impressive you ask me.

In the video, Griff shows followers five or six pairs of Mickey and Minnie ears, each of which his wife Alyssa has made by hand, which Griff says are, “actually pretty impressive if you ask me.”

Griff and Alyssa share a TikTok account and go by the handle @griffandalyssa. They have nearly 80,000 followers, and so far, their videos have amassed almost 4 million likes.

They share videos about different things, but one thing is clear: Alyssa is a true Disney fan, and there’s a lot more to being married to a “Disney girl,” than meets the eye, as Griff found out when Alyssa began to bring up the idea of a Disney cruise, and she wasn’t going to give up. In fact, Alyssa wasn’t going to stop asking until she got what she wanted, and it doesn’t seem like there was too much Alyssa wouldn’t do in order to score her coveted Disney cruise. She’s got her eyes on the prize, Griff. Eyes on the prize!

But Griff seemingly had his eyes on the prize as well because unbeknownst to Alyssa, Griff purchased Disney Cruise Line tickets months before he began teasing and pranking his wife about the sheer impossibility of a cruise with Mickey aboard the Disney Dream, the Disney Magic, the Disney Wonder or the Disney Fantasy.

Her phone is broken atm so she doesn’t even know I posted this haha … don’t tag her tho…chill & be cool about it. #disneycruise #disneyworld #fyp

Yep, Griff had something amazing up his sleeve the whole time–or maybe it was something sinister. That maniacal laugh had us wondering until we read the caption above that maniacal laughter. But did Griff blow his cover with the post to the couple’s shared TikTok account? Griff says no–not to worry, and he tells followers to relax because he was able to post the video revealing his previous ticket purchase to TikTok without Alyssa knowing since her phone was broken at the time.

So, Griff surprised Alyssa by telling her he bought the tickets and that she no longer has to beg to go on a cruise. The end. Right?

Wrong.

Griff’s not the kind of guy to give up so easily. He seems more like the kind of guy who feels an insatiable desire to see a prank through. All the way through. We get the feeling that he must have been raised to always finish what he starts because he wasn’t nearly finished with his plan to surprise his wife with her dream vacation. But that dream vacation would come at a cost for the unsuspecting Alyssa.

What was next up Griff’s sleeve? Well, for starters, even though he already had the Disney Cruise Line tickets in his pocket, there’s no way he was going to tell Alyssa yet. In fact, he had every intention of making her work for her cruise–her vacation of a lifetime. And he wasn’t going to make it easy for her.

Or so he thought.

“My husband said if this video gets 1 million views, he’ll take me on a Disney Cruise,” Alyssa captioned a video that she posted online.

In the video, poor Alyssa dons a mixing bowl on her head and wears a cheese grater attached to a belt in the front and a saucepan over her backside, also attached to the belt. She uses a wooden spatula and a wire whisk to play all the instruments attached or affixed to her body in some way, including the small mixing bowls Alyssa has “strategically placed” on her torso.

It is hysterical to watch, but in between the laughter, we find ourselves thinking, “just give the poor girl her cruise tickets, man!”

Alyssa titles the video, “The things I do for the magic,” and clearly, she’s willing to do the unconventional to hit the high seas with Mickey and the gang.

And when all was said and done, it might just be Alyssa that had the last laugh. Griff said one million views would net her a Disney cruise, and as of posting time of this article, Alyssa and her kitchen instruments have gained 13.6 million views. Alyssa believes she’s earned a Disney cruise for every one million views. When Alyssa hit 8 million views, she was already planning her 8 Disney cruises. Griff isn’t so sure.

We love the humor, comedy and comradery that are clearly part of the relationship between Griff and Alyssa, and we hope they have a blast on their Disney cruise! It might just make a “Disney guy” out of Griff!
