New McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys Feature Disney Princesses & Star Wars

It’s time to visit your local McDonald’s Disney collectors! McDonald’s has teamed up with Disney once again to released a new McDonald Happy Meal toy where you can “Choose Your Journey”. Select either Disney Princesses or Star Wars to get a special collectible Happy Meal toy. But don’t wait… these toys are only available while supplies last!

The eight Disney Princess Happy Meal toys include Princess Tiana, Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, Moana, Belle, Snow White, and Mulan as pictures below! All of the Princess stands connect for one royal gathering.

The nine Star Wars Happy Meal toys include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Yoda, Finn, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Sith Trooper, and First Order Stormtrooper. They may be pretty cool to look at, but each Star Wars toy also shoots out small discs!

According to Attractions Magazine “Choose Your Journey” toys will be available in McDonald’s Happy Meal through April 26, 2021 (while supplies last). Disney+ Series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” Trailer Released

Star Wars Junkies have a lot to look forward to this May the Fourth. On that day, Disney+ will be streaming their second Star Wars series, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”. Taking place after “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, this animated series follows a “Bad Batch” of clones in the aftermath of the Clone Wars.

Created by Dave Filoni, the new series features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker and Disney Legend Ming-Na Wen.

Production Begins on “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Star Wars Series for Disney+

“Obi-Wan Kenobi,” the new Disney+ special event series starring Ewan McGregor as the iconic Jedi Master, will begin shooting in April. The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow, director of two critically acclaimed episodes of “The Mandalorian,” Season 1.

The series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. 

Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. 

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and writer Joby Harold. The casting director is Carmen Cuba.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be available exclusively on Disney+.

Who Will Be Joining the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Series??

Season 2 of The Mandalorian might be over, but we’ve got SO MUCH MORE Star Wars to look forward to. A new Boba Fett series is in the works, an Ahsoka Tano show is on the way, and there’s much more. OH, and we can’t forget about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series! So far, we’ve gotten a little bit of info about the series. And now we’ve got ANOTHER update!

We already know that Ewan McGregor is coming back as Obi-Wan Kenobi. And we’ve heard that Hayden Christensen himself will be returning in the series as Darth Vader. But, now another actor has joined the show!

According to VarietyIndira Varma has been cast in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. What character will Varma be playing? Well, those details are under wraps right now.

You might recognize Varma from her roles in the ABC legal drama For Life or her role as Ellaria Sand in HBO’s Game of Thrones, was well as other films. Varma was also in The One and Only Ivan, which premiered on Disney+ last year.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set to take place 10 years after Revenge of the Sith. The show got a new writer last year and was previously set to begin filming in March of 2021.
