New Galaxy’s Edge Books In June; Pre-Order Now

Though we don’t yet know if they’ll be taking visitors at Black Spire Outpost by then, on June 23rd, you’ll be able to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge like a pro.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Traveler’s Guide to Batuu by Cole Horton will be released that day, offering advice on what to see and do, along with maps and materials from Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering:

Star Wars Episode I: Racer Coming To Nintendo Switch & PS4 In May

It has been reported that the classic game “Star Wars Episode I: Racer” was set for a re-release on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. Now, we know that we won’t have to wait much longer, as the game will be released on both platforms in just a matter of weeks.

Originally playable on the N64 console back in 1999, “Racer” allows players to build, maintain and customise their own podracer, ready to race along tracks straight out of “The Phantom Menace”. Both racers new and returning will be able to purchase the game from May 12th, so get ready! Features of the game will include:

  • 25 playable racers including: Anakin Skywalker, Sebulba, and Ratts Tyerell
  • Race tracks spanning 8 unique worlds including: Tatooine, Baroonda, and Malastare
  • Work with pit droids to upgrade your podracer for higher top speeds and acceleration

Stellan Skarsgard & Kyle Soller To Join Cast of Disney+ Series Cassian Andor

Stellan Skarsgard (“Thor”) and Kyle Soller (“Poldark”) are both in final negotiations to join the cast of the upcoming “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” spin-off series that will air on Disney+.

The series is based on the character of Cassian Andor, who was played by Diego Luna in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, and will take place prior to the events of “Rogue One”. Alan Tudyk will also reprise his role as K-2SO, who was Cassian Andor’s faithful, yet confrontational, reprogrammed Imperial security droid.

The Cassian Andor series is scheduled to debut sometime in 2021 on Disney+.
