We’re finally seeing progress as the Disney Cruise Line set sail on July 6, 2021 with guests on board for the first time in over a year. With COVID-19 suspending all cruise departures back in March 2020, it’s refreshing to see Disney Cruise Line is once again taking a big step toward welcoming Disney fans back on board. This special test cruise aboard the Disney Magic set sail from Southampton, England, U.K. with select test cruisers. Cast Members and test cruisers took to social media to share their excitement!

Yesterday was the first time in 479 days since Disney Cruise Line welcomed back their first guests onboard the Disney Magic for 1 of 2 test cruises before we go live on the 15th. To be part of the reopening team to bring the first ship back in the fleet has been a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least but I’m so freaking pumped to be here and so proud of all the hard work we have put into this over the last 10 weeks!
