Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s nighttime show, Rivers of Light: We Are One, now has more showings throughout February.
Both new showings are later than the ones originally announced. The updated schedule is:
February 2–8: 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m.*
February 9–29: 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.*

The show lasts approximately 15 minutes and is filled with stunning imagery from Disneynature films, along with a colorful tapestry of classic moments from Disney animated classics like “The Lion King,” “Bambi” and “Brother Bear.”
In 2020, following the limited-time run of “EPCOT Forever,” the new “HarmonioUS” will debut as the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park. While an opening date has not been released just yet, D23 has revealed the opening season of the new show at EPCOT.
“HarmonioUS” will be debuting in Spring 2020, set to replace “EPCOT Forever.”
The nighttime spectacular will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over, carrying guests away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe. The show will also feature music by composer Pinar Toprak. “HarmonioUS” will have massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.
Disney is making some changes to the much maligned “Rivers of Light” nighttime show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The new show which will have a slight title change; “Rivers of Light: We are One” will be ready in time for Memorial Day weekend and will feature characters from Disneynature films.
Disney added this show and a 5,000 seat theater in 2017 but has had difficulty finding a niche for it when compared with the nighttime spectaculars of the other parks.
Walt Disney World announced on Tuesday the date of the final showing of “Illuminations: Reflections of Earth” show that has made a 20 year run of closing Epcot each night.
Like everything associated with WDW, dates matter, and this one is no different. “Illuminations” will come to a close on September 30th later this year. The new show which will be titled “Epcot Forever” and will begin on October 1st.
Epcot opened on October 1st, 1971, so they are ushering in a new nighttime spectacular to celebrate the 37th anniversary of the park’s opening.
“Illuminations” has been a fan favorite for the last 20 years. It has wowed and dazzled fans alike with its combination of pyrotechnics, fire, giant globe, laser lights, and soundtrack.
The new “Epcot Forever” show will start its run and will feature never before seen elements. Some of the fireworks and flying kite displays have already begun their testing.
