Jungle Cruise’s New Trapped Safari Scene Complete at Magic Kingdom

The newest enhancement to be revealed in the Jungle Cruise attraction renovations is the new “Trapped Safari” scene. Walt Disney Imagineering took to social media to reveal the new scene which can now be seen at Magic Kingdom and will soon debut at Disneyland.

As shared by Walt Disney Imagineering: “We just wanted to POINT out the exciting progress Imagineering teams made last night on the #JungleCruise enhancements at @WaltDisneyWorld Resort! Starting today, Magic Kingdom Park guests aboard the attraction can meet our trapped safari of new characters, including Felix Penchman XIII, the Skipper who led this expedition up a tree! We are excited for guests to see them for themselves at @Disneyland when the Jungle Cruise reopens on July 16!”

Star Tours to Add New Rise of Skywalker Scene to Ride

Since the launch of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Disney has had a great partnership with Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic to update the attraction with new and exciting destinations. Passengers who board the Starspeeder 1000 never know where in the galaxy their pilot C-3PO and navigator R2-D2 will take them. We recently wrote on “Rise of Skywalker” updates coming to Star Tours back in September, and Disney has just announced more details on the upcoming scene.

On the same December date of the movie release, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be adding new destinations inspired by the latest episode of the Star Wars saga at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort.

In the trailers for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, passengers caught glimpses of the ocean moon Kef Bir. Starspeeders will be heading there soon!

It’s been two years since Star Tours received new sequences, with Crait and Batuu added back in 2017 and Jakku added before then in 2015. Disney will be sharing more details in the future.
