New Limited Edition Maleficent MagicBand Now Available

The new Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Limited Edition MagicBand has made its grand, evil entrance at Walt Disney World.

The band, like all Limited Edition releases, comes in a specially-designed box, with Maleficent’s new look on the front.

The band itself is, of course, all black, with Maleficent’s image.

On the other side, a pattern of her silhouette in white contrasts against the black band. Her wings are up by the Mickey puck.

The band is a Limited Edition of 1,000 and retails for $34.99.

You can find it wherever specialty MagicBands are sold across Walt Disney World.

Angelina Jolie Gets Transformed Into Maleficent

Watch as Angelina Jolie is turned into “Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil” by some very talented makeup artists!

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” opens on October 18th.

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

The film is directed by Joachim Rønning from a story by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster, the film is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.

Sneak Peak of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Coming to Disney Parks

This fall, the story continues of the blockbuster live-action film “Maleficent” in the all-new adventure, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” and soon, guests at Disney Parks will have a chance to preview select scenes from the film. For a limited time starting September 27 you can catch a sneak peek aboard Disney Cruise Line and at the following locations at Disney theme parks:

  • Walt Disney World Resort – Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
  • Disney California Adventure Park – Presented in the evenings at the Sunset Showcase Theater, following daily performances of Mickey’s PhilharMagic.
  • Disneyland Paris – Starting September 28 at Walt Disney Studios Park

“Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil” Trailer Released

Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent has a new, fierce foe in “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”: Michelle Pfeiffer’s Queen Ingrith. 

And this battle is getting nasty real quick. Queen Ingrith is even packing a crossbow.

The first official trailer for the follow-up to 2014’s Disney hit “Maleficent” dropped Monday, featuring boiling tension between the two forces fighting for Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), who has been raised by Maleficent from childhood.

Maleficent does not want Aurora’s marriage to a prince to go forward.

“Love,” she tells Aurora, “doesn’t always end well.”

But Queen Ingrith wants the wedding and wants control of Aurora.
