Dining Experience Returning to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Attending a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is one of the best ways to celebrate the season. That’s why we’re excited that Disney has announced the return of a great add-on experience offered during the party. Catch all the details below.

Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party is returning this year to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! You can make a reservation now!

The festive and joyous experience will take place from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (beyond the party’s midnight end time!) at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park

You and your party can raise a glass to the spirit of the seasons as you mingle in and out of this holly, jolly party to enjoy an assortment of themed food and beverage offerings, including beer and wine in a fun, festive atmosphere complete with a beautiful view of Town Square, upbeat holiday hits, and décor. The evening will also feature entertainment by the one and only Tony himself.

But that’s not all! At 11:00 p.m., you have reserved viewing for the enchanting “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” as it makes way down Main Street, U.S.A.

Please note, seating is available for guests as they dine on a first come, first serve basis and shared seating is encouraged amongst guests to enjoy both the food and company the party has to offer.

Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party is available for $99 per person (plus tax) every Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event night at Magic Kingdom Park. Admission to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is required to attend.

Permit Filed for Walkway From Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian

More construction is in the works around the Magic Kingdom. There has been a permit filed stating that there will be a walkway put in place between the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Magic Kingdom Park. I know this makes many happy as people enjoy the walk from the Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom. We have no other info on the walkway at this time.

As you can notice from the monorail, there is a pedestrian walkway already starting from the Grand Floridian resort but it stops at the canal. Some have speculated that is because that is where the Water Pageant floats use the canal to go to and from storage after the nighttime water parade.

If this is completed, this would give guests at the Grand Floridian and Polynesian an additional route to get to the Magic Kingdom. More access is never a bad thing.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a deluxe resort at Walt Disney World and is home to some of the best restaurants on Walt Disney World property, including one of the our personal favorites, 1900 Park Fare.

Here’s a glimpse at last year’s show!

4th of July @ Walt Disney World

Red, white, and Blue and……….the Mouse. Walt Disney World compares directly with American Independence in so many ways.

  • America – Celebrates patriotism
  • WDW – Magic Kingdom has Liberty Square, Epcot has the American Adventure
  • America – Apple pie
  • WDW – Dole Whip anyone?
  • America – Uncle Sam
  • WDW – Mickey Mouse (Sam Eagle – Honorable Mention)
  • America – Fireworks on 4th of July
  • WDW – Fireworks EVERY night

Need I continue?

So what would be better than being at Disney World on the 4th of July? Now that’s the best of both worlds.

Here are some of the things that can be seen/done on this upcoming July 4th at WDW;

Magic Kingdom Park – Park Hours: July 3, 8 a.m.-12 a.m.; July 4, 8 a.m.-1 a.m.

  • “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” offers booming fireworks orchestrated to patriotic melodies showering the Magic Kingdom sky on both July 3 and July 4 at 9:15 p.m. Guests can also dance the night away with DJs spinning tunes at a Hoedown Throwdown in Frontierland and an out-of-this-world Galactic Gathering in Tomorrowland. Fans at home can join in the Independence Day celebration by viewing a special July 4 live stream of the dazzling fireworks display on the Disney Parks Blog.
  • A fuzzy cast of Muppets – Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzie Bear and friends – reenact famous moments in American history in a whimsical way during “The Muppets Present … Great Moments in History.”The live show is performed several times daily near the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square.

Epcot – Park Hours: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

  • “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” will end its nearly 20-year run on September 30, 2019. So this will be the last chance to experience the patriotic Fourth of July grand finale of this beloved nighttime spectacular. “The Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks extravaganza will begin immediately following the 9 p.m. “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” display.
  • A cappella vocal group Voices of Liberty will perform great American tunes during a Fourth of July concert on the America Gardens Theatre stage at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. on July 4. The group also will perform in the rotunda inside The American Adventure pavilion at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Guests can meet favorite Disney characters donning their “Spirit of ’76” patriotic attire at The American Adventure throughout the day on July 4.
  • Guests can indulge in themed eats and sips honoring Independence Day throughout the park – everything from patriotic cupcakes and special dining packages to red, white, and blue sangria and a Boom Berry Lemonade.
