New Holiday Party Season Pass

Disney has announced an all-new Mickey’s Not So Scary Party Pass that will allow guests to enjoy up to 35 nights of the party in 2019.

Beginning today, August 16, you can purchase the new Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass to enjoy up to 35 nights in 2019. (This pass is not valid for admission on Oct. 31, 2019). With this new pass you can attend most event nights for just $299 plus tax. There is so much to see and do at this festive celebration and this pass is the perfect way to enjoy trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom, exclusive entertainment including a brand-new fireworks spectacular and attraction offerings and partake in the endless amount of ghoulishly good times!

The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass is only available, in limited quantities, for purchase at Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is special ticketed event runs 36 days on select nights from now until Nov. 1. This year, we are debuting a brand-new fireworks show, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.” In the show, Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” serves as host and has come to tell a “not-so-scary” story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. The show will also include state-of-the-art projections and lasers, plus lighting and dazzling fireworks that will fill the sky above Magic Kingdom Park.

The party also includes a new interactive treat trail at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and attractions updated with new Halloween twists as well as spooky additions to “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade!” These enhancements include new Halloween costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a new Haunted Mansion unit featuring the spectral Bride, who glides among the waltzing spirits all representing Liberty Square. A new Tomorrowland unit brings The Incredibles and designer extraordinaire Edna Mode to “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” followed by Buzz Lightyear and some Alien explorers, as they discover crystalline treasures on the surface of a planetary playset float.

This pass will likely appeal to locals who can attend a number of parties from August 16-November 1. With single party tickets ranging from $79-$115, the pass will very quickly pay for itself. For guests who are not annual passholders, this is a fantastic way to visit Magic Kingdom for up to eight hours per visit (4:00 pm-12:00 am) up to 35 times for only $299. Now that’s a good deal–if you can visit often.

Even if you are not a Florida local who can visit frequently, if you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World in October and want to enjoy the Halloween party on multiple nights, you may want to consider the pass. Beginning the week of September 29, the Halloween party runs on 4 nights each week. The pass is especially valuable in October. If you were to attend the three-weekday parties (at $105) and the Friday night party ($115), you are essentially getting the Friday night party for free. If your vacation runs from a Friday to the following weekend, you could attend five parties (Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday again) and get two parties for free! Think of all that time in Magic Kingdom with amazing entertainment, attractions, and fun. If this party pass can fit into your budget, then we think it’s a great deal!

Jack Skellington to Host New Fireworks Show

A brand-new fireworks show set to debut this week on August 16, 2019 will feature Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” as host for the new “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park. This spellbinding display features state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks.

His ghost dog, Zero, flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends – Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy – find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. Their journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains. The show will also include state-of-the-art projections and lasers, plus lighting and dazzling fireworks that will fill the sky above Magic Kingdom Park.

Photopass Studio Open at Magic Kingdom

Photos are among the best souvenirs that you can get while at Walt Disney World! Photos help capture the memories and magic of your trip so that you can remember it for years to come. Disney has opened a PhotoPass Studio at Magic Kingdom Park. The studio is located within Fantasyland inside Sir Mickey’s, which is near the exit for Princess Fairytale Hall. Guests who visit will find cast members who are available to take guests’ pictures in front a variety of different backdrops. There are woodland scenes, photo props and more. There is a glass slipper photo prop, too!

The Disney PhotoPass Studio is available to all park guests with regular park admission. The photos will be within the guest’s My Disney Experience account and included in downloads with Memory Maker. The hours for the Disney PhotoPass Studio are the same as the regular park hours for Magic Kingdom Park.

Holiday Updates to Various Magic Kingdom Attractions This Year

Some Magic Kingdom attractions are getting a holiday makeover this year for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Disney Parks Blog announced some of these changes.

First up is over at Tomorrowland Speedway where guests will drive through lights and special decorations while on the track. Next at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor there will be a new show just for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party that will incorporate holiday fun. Space Mountain will feature special lighting and holiday music to help set the holiday mood for the attraction. Over a Mad Tea Party there will be holiday lights and music incorporated into the experience.

The new fireworks show will debut, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. There are also returning offerings including A Frozen Holiday Wish, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas, Club Tinsel, Disney Junior Jingle Jam and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. There will still be a variety of complimentary treats and snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A.

Tickets are already on sale for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The event will run on select nights on November 8th, 2019 through December 22nd, 2019. Guests can save $10 when they purchase tickets in advance.

We’re now less than one month from the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Disney has released some more details about what we can expect at this year’s party. Catch all the details below from a Disney cast member.

The fireworks are just part of the Halloween fun. Several attractions across the park receive special enhancements just for the Halloween party! New this year, when you follow the treat trail into the Monster World at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, they’ll interact in all-new ways with the comic cast of monsters, as they learn about the curious Human World holiday we call Halloween.

Embarking upon the high seas with the Pirates of the Caribbean, you’ll discover a crew of live pirates on your journey, engaged in a whole new adventure in search of treasure. Space Mountain goes completely dark again this year, hurtling you through the blackness of deep space to the riffs and chords of a new hard-rockin’ soundtrack, and at the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland, each spin of the teacups takes guests into madder and madder territory, as special lighting and music give the attraction experience an extra energy after dark.

There’s also the amazing “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” the ride of the Headless Horseman, “Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade,” Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball and “Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam,” where this year Nancy Clancy from the hit Disney Junior series “Fancy Nancy” joins other Disney Junior pals like Vampirina and Doc McStuffins.
