The Animation Experience to Offer Animal Villain Drawing Classes

Since the reawakening of Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom earlier this year, guests have been perfecting their drawing skills at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station. Until now, classes have focused on how to sketch some of the most iconic characters from Disney’s “The Lion King”.

Right in time for the villainous season, Disney is introducing characters who find themselves as the antagonist in highly popular Disney films. While Scar and Ed from Disney’s “The Lion King” will remain as one of the six characters in rotation, beginning Oct. 18, you can put pencil to paper and learn to draw from Disney•Pixar: Bruce from “Finding Nemo” and Hopper from “A Bug’s Life”; ShereKhan from “The Jungle Book” and Tic Toc from “Peter Pan.”

FastPass+ continues to be available for the experience. Which new character are you looking forward to learning?

Latest Bus Designs

Early this summer we got to see a new look for some of the Walt Disney World buses, as the sensational six: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto hit the roadways.

As we roll on into September, even more buses featuring characters from some of the most beloved Disney films are joining the fleet. Now guests will be able to enjoy a ‘Hakuna Matata’ journey with Simba from Disney’s “The Lion King,” experience a whole lot of laughs with Mike and Sully from “Monsters, Inc.,” or see how far they’ll go with Moana – as these new designs full of character and fun hit the roads around Walt Disney World!

If that wasn’t enough… in the coming weeks, additional buses featuring characters from Disney’s “Frozen” and many more will be making their way to Walt Disney World as well.

And, similar to the buses featuring the sensational six, these buses have those new blue seats and laminate floors throughout. Some of the buses will also have USB charging ports conveniently located between seats, so you can re-charge your devices and not miss a moment of capturing and sharing your Disney vacation memories.

You can check out even more photos of the recent “The Lion King” bus here. Other additions to the Disney character buses include Dumbo as well as Rocket and Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy”!

Can’t wait to see the new ones!

New Bus Design Unveiled

Just this weekend, we were dazzled by the arrival of two new buses to the Disney Transport fleet, featuring Dumbo, as well as Rocket and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, we’ve been graced with a new addition to the new Disney movie bus wrap series: Simba and Zazu from The Lion King!

we have Simba leaping across the side of the bus, with Pride Rock in the background and Zazu flying just ahead of him. The grassy stalks peeking out from the bottom are a great touch, too. Actually, all of the colors on this bus, much like the animation from the film, are magnificent. If you’re curious about the other side of the bus, much like the other movie bus wraps, it features more or less the same design.

This bus marks the 9th addition to the Disney Transport bus fleet, with six new wraps featuring classic Disney characters as “Sensational Six” and now three new movie-themed wraps.
