Disney World Guests Fight Inside Ride

Disney World Guests were caught fighting on iconic Disney attraction, and as a result, they were escorted from Disney Parks.

Walt Disney World Resort is not just a group of theme parks and Resorts; it is an experience that stays with visitors for a lifetime. Walt Disney World Resort is constantly evolving, with new attractions, shows, and events being added regularly to keep visitors coming back for more. It is a place where dreams come true, where visitors can escape reality and immerse themselves in a world of magic and wonder. For families, couples, and solo travelers alike, Disney World is an unforgettable destination that should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Disney World is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” and is divided into four Parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney World also has two water parks for Guests to enjoy, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach, offering Guests a refreshing break from the Florida heat.

With this many different Parks, Disney World sees thousands of Guests daily. Magic Kingdom is a popular Park that Guests visit. Guests can stroll down Main Street, U.S.A and spot Cinderella Castle at the center. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Disney, with rides, shows, and parades featuring beloved characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and many others. Some of the Park’s most popular attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, “it’s a small world,” The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, and the Haunted Mansion.

Haunted Mansion takes Guests on a journey where the disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the mortal realm of an eerie haunted estate, home to ghosts, ghouls, and supernatural surprises. On the ride, you’ll lide past a casket-filled conservatory, Madame Leota’s chilling séance room, and a ghostly graveyard of singing specters as you attempt to find your way out. Beware of hitchhikers—these phantom pranksters may follow you home.

Guests will climb aboard a gloomy Doom Buggy for a grave journey through a labyrinth of haunted chambers.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

In a recent Reddit Thread, Guests spotted families arguing in line and this altercation only grew into more fighting. The Guests said Cast Members jumped in to intervene and couldn’t control them. At the end of the attraction’s preshow, Disney World Security were lined up to remove the families from the Park.

“My family was waiting in line at Haunted Mansion, in front of were two family jawing at each other and this went on for a good 15 minutes. The two families finally stopped arguing and we made our way into the stretching room, this is the part where the crazy happens while inside the two families jawing at each other ended up having a fist in the room. the castmembers did their best to try and break it up but they couldn’t. At the end of the elevator ride their was a lineup of security who escorted the families out.

Disney Cast Members work hard to keep Guests at Disney safe. Disney Guests need to remember to be calm and kind to other Guests and Cast Members.

Family Turns Home into “Haunted Mansion”-inspired House

A California family that loves Halloween and Disney Parks used their talents to create a one-of-a-kind attraction at their home during this spooky season, and their efforts caught the eye of a legendary Disney icon.

Mike Stanley, his wife Dawn, and his son Wyatt live in Aliso Viejo, California, and they love Halloween; in fact, they’ve been known for their passion for the spooky holiday for more than 10 years now. The family has a “go big or go home (or at least back inside the house)” approach to decorating their Oak Ridge Circle home for Halloween, and this year, fans of the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will find the home extremely familiar, as it’s incredibly reminiscent of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion.

We even think we saw the Ghost Host, and we know we saw the famed Madame Leota.

“This year’s theme is near and dear to our hearts because it’s our favorite ride at Disneyland,” said Mike Stanley. “So, we’ve always wanted to give it the respect it deserves and really go big.”

The Stanley family’s attraction pays homage to the legendary Haunted Mansion ride–specifically, the ride at Disneyland Resort in California.

“The neighbors are involved now, so we worked together to get a different scene from the ride in every front lawn,” said Mike Stanley.

The enormous attraction is open to members of the community. Visitors can stop by and enjoy the spooks, haunts, ghosts, and ghouls–and it’s all for a good cause. While they’re there, they can also purchase cookies, churros, hot chocolate, and apple cider. The proceeds from each purchase are donated to the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support group.

The Stanley family says the charity is very near and dear to their hearts.

“We wanted to kind of do something in honor of my dad to give back that’s why we chose that charity,” said Dawn Stanley.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the Stanleys’ exciting take on Halloween decorating earned them a very special visit from legendary Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr.

The Stanleys were excited to host Gurr, and they even served him cake in celebration of his 91st birthday. Before he left, they also gave him a tour of the attraction they created, and according to the California family and Haunted Mansion fans, the legendary Imagineer Bob Gurr approved.

“Bob Gurr gave his stamp of approval last night,” said Dawn Stanley, “so, if we can get his stamp approval for how good it is, it’s good, so the kids should come out.”

Disney Announces Release Dates For ‘Mufasa’, ‘Inside Out 2’, ‘Snow White’, and More!

Last week, Disney hosted the D23 Expo, the ultimate fan event. At the Expo, Disney hosted so many great panels that let Guests hear from casts of upcoming films and series like The Santa Clauses, as well as past hits like Encanto. In addition, Disney hosted a Disney and Pixar film panel — where cameras were not allowed — and they shared more info on upcoming films like Snow White and Inside Out 2. They also announced that some new series would be coming down the pike — like The Lion King prequel, Mufasa: The Lion King.

The D23 Expo may have ended, but that does not mean that the news has stopped coming. While Disney announced a number of projects at the Expo, most of them did not have release dates — until now. Disney waited until this week to officially announce their slate, which includes the pushing back of the highly anticipated live-action film, The Haunted Mansion. The movie — which will star Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto — was supposed to be released on March 10, 2023, but will now premiere on August 11, 2023.

Haunted Mansion Movie

After The Haunted Mansion, Disney will release its newest animated feature, Wish. Disney also shared that Pixar’s next film Elio — the story of a young boy who meets aliens — will be released on March 1, 2024. That will be followed up by the highly-anticipated, but also highly controversial, live-action remake, Snow White on March 22, 2024. Next up? Disney announced that Mufasa will be released on July 5, 2024.

Here’s what we know about Mufasa: The Lion King — it will show the future king as he washed away in a flood. Alone and struggling, Mufasa must find a new pride to become a part of. The film will show that Mufasa was not born into royalty, he learned it. The series will also feature the popular sidekicks, Timon and Pumbaa — who will once again be voiced by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogan.

As for Wish, the film will tell the story of Asha, who lives in the fairy tale kingdom called the Kingdom of Wishes. The film will show viewers the origin of the famous Wishing Star but, of course, not everything goes smoothly in this kingdom and Asha learns that there is a dark side to her idyllic home. West Side Story star Ariana DeBose will voice Asha.

‘Haunted Mansion’ Release Date Pushed Back Months

The Walt Disney Company has always been known for its incredible slate of both animated and live-action films. From classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Bambi to hits like High School Musical and Enchanted. In recent years, Disney has made a big push to make some of its most famous animated films into live-action remakes. While Disney started with princess hits like Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, they are now working on unique choices like Lilo & Stitch and The Aristocats.

Disney doesn’t only find success with live-action films based on animated films. They have also had massive success with films based on popular theme park attractions. One of their biggest hit franchises is Pirates of the Caribbean, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Kiera Knightly. Disney attempted to make another live-action film based on a ride, The Haunted Mansion, in 2003 — the same year the first Pirates film came out — but that movie, which starred Eddie Murphy, was a massive box-office flop.

Eddie Murphy Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion continues to be one of Disney’s most popular attractions at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, so Disney is giving a live-action film another go. This version of The Haunted Mansion will star Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Lakeith Stanfield, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Tiffany Haddish. The film was set to be released on March 10, 2023, but we are now learning that Disney has pushed the release date back by months. The new film will be released in theaters on August 11, 2023.

The move may seem surprising to some, but Disney appears to have so much confidence in the film that they are putting it in a spot typically reserved for big summer hits. When it is released, The Haunted Mansion will go up against the horror film Last Voyage of Demeter, Grand Turismo, and the Zendaya-led film Challengers.

According to Disney, this version of The Haunted Mansion will tell the story of single mother Gabbie, played by Dawson, who moves to New Orleans with her young son. They purchase a mansion that is not exactly what it seems. Owen Wilson will play a priest, Danny DeVito will play a college professor, Jared Leto will appear as the iconic Hatbox Ghost, and Jamie Lee Curtis will play Madame Leota. The film will be directed by Justin Simien.

Again, The Haunted Mansion will now premiere in theaters on August 11, 2023.

Popular Ghost Coming to Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom

At D23 Expo 2022, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared a look into the future for Disney theme parks and beyond. One of those announcements was the news that a popular ghost is coming to Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom.

The popular Hatbox Ghost from the attraction at Disneyland will materialize at Magic Kingdom sometime in 2023. I guess there really was room for one more ghost!
