NEW Haunted Mansion Inflatables Are Coming To Lowe’s

Spooky season is right around the corner and that means soon we all get to start saying “Halloween decorations already!?!?” (Either incredulously or joyously depending on your outlook). Last year Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, The Home Depot and Target brought our favorite Hitchhiking Ghosts to our front lawns with their Haunted Mansion inflatables by Gemmy. This year that trend continues, but even better!

Get your wallets ready! The Haunted Mansions Doom Buggy inflatables featuring the Hitchhiking Ghosts are coming soon to a home improvement store near you! Some lucky shoppers have even been able to get their hands on it early by asking to purchase at Lowe’s. Others on the forum said they tried and were told no.

When it’s finally out on shelves (next month most likely) it will cost $140. The best part about this decoration is that it’s great for both day and night decor. It’s adorable by day, but by night the lights lend an otherworldly glow giving it an extra dose of frightful fun!

For the creative holiday decorator, the possibilities with this piece are endless! We’re already imagining the elaborate displays people will create with this and we’re totally here for it!

People have been going over the top with their Halloween decor for years now and each year it gets better and better. Take Chris Sardinias who was featured on PopSugar for his amazing Haunted Mansion re-creation. He told the pop culture site “Why not draw inspiration from none other than the best?” he said. “The Haunted Mansion is so iconic and the illusions featured within the attraction are so recognizable that for a visitor, they can effortlessly make the connection, bringing back that spooky nostalgic feeling.”

New Halloween Scavenger Hunt Coming to Disney World This Year!

Walt Disney World Resort is one of the best places to visit during the Halloween season, and one of the best Parks to be in is EPCOT. There are a ton of great decorations, delicious, seasonal food offerings, and, best of all, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will still be taking place. And this season, Guests will be able to experience two brand-new events. First, Disney World’s newest roller coaster — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — will be getting a holiday overlay. Second, a scavenger hunt will be making its way from the Disneyland Resort all the way to the East Coast — Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit made its Disney debut last Halloween season at Disneyland Resort. The scavenger hunt at Disneyland was themed for Guests visiting the Downtown Disney District, but for Walt Disney World, the Pumpkin Pursuit will be held at EPCOT. Disney hasn’t shared any details on what else will be different for Disney World’s version of Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, but here’s more information on it from the Disney Parks Blog website:

Partake in our new pumpkin hunt in the Downtown Disney District! First, purchase a game board and stickers at select Disney merchandise locations, including World of Disney, and search for 13 different hidden pumpkins throughout the district, each inspired by a different Disney character. Then, place the corresponding stickers on your game board! Whether players choose to hunt for pumpkins or not, they can return their game board to a redemption location at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Trader for a chilling surprise.*

Of course, EPCOT is not the only Park that will be celebrating the spookiness of Halloween! Each of the other theme parks — Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom — will be full of decorations and seasonal food. The Magic Kingdom will also see the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party. In 2021, MNSSHP was replaced by an After-Hours Boo Bash event, which seemed to be less popular than Not-So-Scary, so Disney brought back MNSSHP this year. Tickets are currently available for the Halloween party through the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Disney Cruise Line Announces New Experiences for Halloween in 2022

Halloween on the High Seas will return to Disney Cruise Line with more sailings than ever before and new one-of-a-kind experiences for families in September and October 2022. Guest-favorite entertainment and activities, including trick-or-treating, spooky parties, elaborate décor, and themed food and beverage items, will await guests on these limited-time voyages as each ship transforms into a ghoulish wonderland.

1- First-of-its-Kind Character Meet and Greet
Disney Cruise Line guests will be the first to experience an all-new character meet and greet opportunity across the fleet during Halloween on the High Seas sailings. While all of the Disney characters on board will adorn Halloween costumes as part of the festivities, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow will debut a never-before-seen look as they dress up as their favorite Halloween sisters, the Sandersons from the movie “Hocus Pocus.”

2 – Disney Wish Debuts All-New Magical Pumpkin Tree
During its inaugural season of Halloween cruises this fall, the Disney Wish, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, will introduce a unique twist on a Halloween on the High Seas hallmark.

The centerpiece of every ship during Halloween sailings is the signature magical Pumpkin Tree towering over the atrium lobby, each with sprouting Jack-O-Lanterns and flickering lights.

Aboard the Disney Wish, guests will witness the debut of an all-new Pumpkin Tree in the “Cinderella”-inspired Grand Hall. Featuring lighter bark, graceful branches and a mystical face, this enchanted tree that grew perfect gourds with the help of a Wishing Star at night produced the perfect pumpkin that became the coach that carried Cinderella to the Prince’s Ball.

Other special experiences on Halloween on the High Seas sailings include:

  • Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party: Beloved Disney characters in Halloween attire will join guests for a fun-filled costume party.
  • Halloween Isn’t Just For Kids: Adult-exclusive venues across the fleet will become a ghoulish setting for costume contests and a Villainous Takeover on the dance floor.
  • Spooky Movies: To get guests into the spirit of the season, Halloween-themed movies will be shown on Funnel Vision by the family pool and in staterooms.
  • Ghoulish Delights: Guests will enjoy special themed food and beverage items.
  • More spooky fun includes mask-making and a ghostly takeover of ship announcements.

Halloween on the High Seas voyages will be offered aboard select sailings in September and October. Departing from ports in Miami and Port Canaveral, Florida, San Diego, and New York City, each cruise will take families to fascinating destinations including the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, and Mexico. All sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami will include a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island paradise outfitted for family fun and relaxation and brimming with special Disney touches.
