In an Instagram post yesterday, Walt Disney World confirmed a character statue featuring Sebastian and Flounder will be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection.
The Disney Fab 50 is part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World on October 1. The celebrations will last for 18 months.
The next member of the “Disney Fab 50” collection of character statues coming to Walt Disney World for its fiftieth anniversary has been announced… and it stars one fabulous feline!
Direct from Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat will have a statue at the Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle made the announcement on his Instagram account, accompanied by two cast members, Ben (who has been working at Walt Disney World since 1971), and LaTara (who has been working there for two years).
It was announced today via the Pixar Instagram that Joe Gardner will be joining the lineup of Disney Fab 50 statues for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
Soul directors Pete Docter and Kemp Powers took to Instagram to announce the newest statue honoring the lead from their film. Joe is seen seated, playing a stream of piano keys. The statue will be showcased at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, alongside Edna Mode who was recently announced as part of the Fab 50 Character Collection at the park as well.
The latest addition to the Disney Fab 50 character statue lineup for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is Dante from “Coco.” Dante will appear at EPCOT.
The statue was revealed by Cesar Millan, the “Dog Whisperer” of National Geographic.
