Foodie Guide to Celebrate Soulfully Treats and Eats

Throughout the year, Disney Parks honor Black heritage and culture with Celebrate Soulfully, where our cast members bring their cultures to life in our parks through authentic food, music, and experiences.

During the month of February, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort join together to honor and experience Black culture through cuisines, one bite and sip at a time – with many offerings inspired and created by our diverse Disney cast members. Both coasts bring these delicious flavors and traditions to the plate and glass for people of all ages and backgrounds to join in on the soulful celebration. No detail is too small when it comes to our Celebrate Soulfully cuisine!

At Disneyland Resort, enjoy new can’t-miss chef inspirations such as the Shrimp & Grits from Café Orleans and the Peach Cobbler Donut from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. Over on the East Coast, Walt Disney World Resort is bringing back popular dishes from last February’s Cooking With Soul feature and highlighting new food and beverage  creations infused with Walt Disney World cast stories and heritage carried by Black-owned distillers. This February, Guests can try dishes returning with a twist such as the Peach Cobbler Whiskey Cake at Tiffins Restaurant or brand-new Soulful Sunday Dinners at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. While visiting, Guests can keep an eye out for other soulful offerings across property to continue celebrating soulfully throughout the year.

Disney Eats Foodie Guide to Lunar New Year Delights 2023

Happy (almost) Lunar New Year! The Year of the Rabbit on the Chinese calendar and Year of the Cat on the Vietnamese calendar are just around the corner and to celebrate the exciting occasion, the Disneyland Resort is serving up delightful dishes in honor of the new year. Guests will be transported with each bite and sip as they taste the delicious flavors and traditions of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian cultures.

From sweet indulgences to savory snacks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Disneyland Resort. With the help of this Disney Eats Foodie Guide, everyone will get a sneak peek at all the Lunar Near Year items that will help them and their stomach start off the new year on a happy (and full) note.

Guests can taste their way through the Lunar New Year Celebration from Jan. 20 through Feb. 15, 2023. The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is less than a week away! Party Dates are quickly selling out, so if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, you’ll want to do so as soon as possible. If you’re heading to the event and Magic Kingdom during the holiday season, you’ll be able to enjoy special food and beverage items. The most wonderful time of year is almost upon us! In this edition of our Disney Eats Foodie Guide, you’ll get a sneak peek into the yummy yuletide delights you can enjoy at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Magic Kingdom Park this year!

This event, which is held on select nights from November 8 through December 2022, is the ultimate holiday gathering filled with beloved characters, attraction overlays, magical entertainment, like the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and even an appearance from Kris Kringle himself! Foodie Guide to Tasty EPCOT 40th Anniversary Festivities

This year, October 1 marks the 40th Anniversary of EPCOT. That’s right, 40 years! Since opening in 1982, the park has allowed guests who have passed through its gates to get a glimpse into the future, travel the world while experiencing different cultures, and take their tastebuds on a journey through delicious food festivals. The possibilities have been endless and will continue to be with the exciting plans that lie ahead in the future of this iconic theme park.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, it’s only fitting to have some tasty treats. For select days surrounding the anniversary, various locations will be serving up eats and sips honoring 40 years of fun and flavors. From the EPCOT 40thLiege Waffle at the recently opened Connections Café to the Figment Sponge Cake at Sunshine Seasons, and the Dan Dan Noodles at Nine Dragons Restaurant, there is something for everyone to get a taste of the celebrations.
