The wait to see Cirque du Soleil’s new show, Drawn to Life, has just gotten longer.
According to the company’s ticketing website, performances have been suspended through February 10, 2021.
Performances have been delayed through November 17th. The show performs nightly at 5:30 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays and tickets start at $95. The show is currently scheduled through March 31st, 2021.
Drawn to Life was originally meant to open at Disney Springs on April 17, 2020. Cirque du Soleil offered to replace or refund any purchased tickets for showings impacted by the closure.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for Cirque du Soleil, as the performance company’s been hard hit with debut cancellations, massive layoffs, and even bankruptcy. However, “Drawn to Life” at Disney Springs is now scheduled for a Fall debut, and tickets have just gone on sale on the Cirque du Soleil website.
Tickets are available as early as Thursday, November 5, with seats starting at $79. After its debut, performances will take place daily at 5:30 PM from Tuesday through Saturday.
The performance schedule runs through the end of December. Do keep in mind that these showings are contingent on current health and safety restrictions, and are subject to change.

However, after a wave of preview cancellations due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Cirque Du Soleil has now cancelled all performances through April and May, with the first performances now showing on the ticket calendar as starting on June 2.
In light of current events, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is temporarily suspending the preview performances of Drawn to Life at Disney Springs. This action follows the postponement of numerous Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group shows worldwide in recent days and takes into consideration the most current recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the escalation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
From the very beginning of the new coronavirus outbreak, the Group took rigorous measures to protect its work teams and the public. Our priority has always been, and remains, the health and safety of our artists, our partners, our employees and our audiences. We will continue to monitor and assess the situation to determine when the show previews will start.
As the performance you purchased has been postponed, we are encouraging you to keep your tickets and contact us to exchange them for a future date.
All tickets that are not exchanged will be automatically refunded within 30 days of the performance.

As it stands, all Disney owned-and-operated stores and restaurants have now closed at Disney Springs, with select independent vendors still open with adjusted hours or “To-go” models in the case of restaurants.

Disney has shared yet another behind-the-scenes look at “Drawn to Life” by Cirque du Soleil, sharing a little more about the story of the show and the special cast of characters who bring the magic to life. At its core, “Drawn to Life” is the story of the love between a father and a daughter. Delightful, mesmerizing movements of Cirque du Soleil acrobatic mastery pair with the magic of Disney animation to accentuate the story.
The main character is Julie, a courageous and determined young girl. Her father, Tom, was a Disney animator who raised his daughter and surrounded her with Disney animated characters who helped her grow and played important roles in her life.
When Julie finds an unfinished animation piece and a letter from her late father, her imagination is awakened, and she embarks on an inspiring journey into the whimsical world of animation. Along the way, she meets characters like Mr. Pencil (her father’s favorite pencil), who help guide her. Julie also encounters Miss Hésitation, the story’s villain, who reflects Julie’s own doubts and fears as an artist.
