Disney Guest Smuggles In Paint, Vandalizes Castle

A Disneyland Resort Guest was caught vandalizing Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Disney Resorts all across the world are known for their friendly Cast Members who make magic that last a lifetime. But, unfortunately, some Guests find ways to try and ruin that magic.

The most prominent Disney Resorts include Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Walt Disney World Resort is home to four theme parks– Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom– while Disneyland Resort has two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Disneyland Park is the theme park that started it all, and Disney Park is best known for its iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as attractions like “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and Haunted Mansion.

But, that doesn’t mean that it’s the only Disney Park that draws in a crowd.

Disneyland Paris, located nearly 6,000 miles east, is also home to many of the same attractions, as well as Sleeping Beauty Castle.

In a viral video, one Disneyland Paris Guest was caught vandalizing Sleeping Beauty Castle.

This Disney Guest was not spreading magic throughout the Park, instead choosing to tag the popular tourist location.

The TikTok shows the Guests bringing a paint marker inside the Park and starting to write their tag on the Disney Castle.

Disney tries its best to keep the Parks clean for Guests to enjoy. Vandalizing Disney property is a direct violation of Resort rules and can be grounds for being trespassed.

Disneyland Resort has a list of items on its official website that are prohibited at Disney Parks. So far, paint or paint markers are allowed at Disney Parks after this accident, but Disney may change its policy on what markers are allowed inside the Parks. Guests heading to Disney typically bring markers or paint markers for Disney Characters to sign autograph books, hats, shirts, cups, Mickey Mouse ears, and much more.

Disneyland Cast Members work hard to keep Parks looking clean. As fans, let’s all help keep Disney Parks clean by not vandalizing them.

“Selfie” Gets Celebrity Banned From Disney

There have been numerous reports of bad Guest behavior in the Disney Parks resulting in disciplinary action, but how many have involved some of Hollywood’s elite? Movie stars that call California home are seen in Disneyland quite periodically, but this Pitch Perfect diva managed to walk out with a huge ban.

Reports of Guests assaulting Cast Members and even public urination have circulated on social media with a disturbing amount of frequency, and Disney has taken action against this kind of activity, but it’s not every day a celebrity gets involved. During one of her recent trips to the Disneyland Resort, Rebel Wilson was engaged in some suspicious activity that had Disney themselves getting involved.

In her recent Daily Show interview, Wilson admitted to visiting Disneyland every weekend and for every major life event and even being a Disney Adult herself. However, it looks like she won’t be visiting the happiest place on earth any time soon.

The Pitch Perfect star admitted to taking an illegal selfie while on Disneyland property when she told Hasan Minhaj,

“I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo in a secret bathroom inside Disneyland, which is illegal at Disneyland, and I got officially banned for 30 days.”

Wilson later admitted that she was approached by Disney themselves pertaining to her ban, and the experience seems shockingly more like a brief suspension than an actual ban.

The actress revealed,

“They called me up and said, ‘Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland?’ and I said, ‘Oh, June would be fine!’”

On one hand, it seems entirely ridiculous and a little gross to take a selfie in a Disneyland bathroom, but does it really seem like a ban-worthy offense? On the other, many hardcore Disney buffs might be wondering if Wilson is getting off too easy after breaking Disney’s rules.

Disneyland Reveals New Dining and Merchandise Options

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Mickey’s Toontown will debut new and delicious dining options when it reopens later this month and will have some exclusive Runaway Railway-themed merchandise too!

Mickey’s Toontown has been a Disney Park staple for Guests of all ages since the 1990s, offering visitors the chance to live like a Disney cartoon character, exploring the homes of the Fab Five and whirling around in a taxi cab through scenes from 1988’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The themed space features hilarious cartoon gags and characters from franchises like Disney Afternoon’s Rescue Rangers.

Today, Disney has expanded the land, creating two new spaces, the El CapiTOON Theatre, and CenTOONial Park, as well as opening the new attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The Toontown additions come as part of the Disney100 Anniversary Celebration and the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort’s 100 Years of Wonder festivities.

In fact, Toontown will reopen with more sensory-friendly spaces for play, such as Goofy’s How To Play Yard and Donald’s Duck Pond, along with more green spaces for relaxation… and nothing’s better for that than the Perfect Picnic in the Park! Disney fans will soon be able to purchase exclusive merchandise items, such as the Perfect Picnic Blanket featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and the Perfect Picnic Basket, a novelty item that comes with three snack items.

With fast grab-and-go options, this “friendly roadside stand” at the Toontown Farmer’s Market provides yummy bites such as whole fruit, Mini Babybel cheese, Coca-Cola beverage products, Topo Chico Sparkling Water, bottled water, gluten-free cookies, fruit bars, and the classic Disney Parks pickles. In addition, the second new location opening this month will allow Guests to experience Daisy Duck’s “expert culinary skills” at Café Daisy.

Disney Actor on Classic Attraction as He Lives Out His Lifelong Dream

Disney really does make dreams come true–and not just in the classic Disney films, as a beloved actor found out recently.

Before 2013, the world knew nothing about Sven the Reindeer, Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, or Kristoff the Ice Harvester. But late that year, fans, young and old, were introduced to these characters and to the storyline of Disney’s Frozen. Not only were the characters and the story engaging, but the actors and actresses behind those iconic characters became household names, especially Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa), Kristen Bell (voice of Anna), and Josh Gad (voice of Olaf the Snowman).

The second installment of the Frozen franchise debuted in November 2019, and fans were once again smitten by the storyline, the lyrics to the music, and the characters.

In September 2022, four of the franchise’s characters were named Disney Legends at the D23 Expo held in Anaheim, California. Each of the stars was honored individually–Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff.

When Josh Gad took to the stage at the D23 Expo, he shared a story of being rejected by Disney when he was much younger. It had been his dream to work as a Jungle Cruise skipper at the iconic classic Disney attraction, but he didn’t make the cut. But recently, Disney made Gad’s dream come true, and he finally got his wish–to work as a skipper at the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland.

(And his Cast Member tag even shows that he’s from Arendelle.)

The Frozen star referred to himself as the “moderately famous” Josh Gad as he served as skipper on the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland. He hosted a boat full of Guests who were visibly excited to have the famous voice of Olaf as their skipper, and–truth be told–no skipper has ever introduced the “backside of water” with more excitement than Josh Gad. He even warned Guests aboard the boat that since he was the skipper, it would be good for them to call their loved ones and say goodbye.
