Disneyland Resort has finally changed a classic attraction.
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most beloved attractions at Disneyland Resort, taking Guests on a thrilling journey through a pirate-infested world filled with danger, adventure, and treasure. This attraction has since become a classic ride replicated in several other Disney Parks worldwide.
This attraction begins with a boat ride through a peaceful lagoon before plunging into a dark cavern filled with the sounds of waterfalls and mysterious chanting. The journey then takes Disney Guests through scenes depicting the life of pirates, from pillaging towns and fighting naval battles to partying and searching for treasure. The scenes are brought to life through animatronics, sound effects, and special effects, creating a fully immersive experience that transports guests to a different time and place. One of the most memorable moments in the ride is the battle between the pirate ship and the fortress, complete with cannon blasts and explosions that make Guests feel as if they are right in the middle of the action. The ride also features several iconic characters, including Captain Jack Sparrow, who was added to the ride in 2006 to coincide with the release of the hit movie franchise.
In a social media post, Guests have spotted the return of several missing pirates. Over the last several months, Guests noticed that these were missing, and there has been quite the uproar on social media from Disney Park fans.
“It’s cool to see the animatronics making their comeback at pirates. As of my most recent ride (4 hours ago), im happy to say that they have added back the pirates of the Caribbean main theme to the ship attacking the fort scene. The dont be cheekin woman is back and opens the window. All of the chase scenes are working. They brought back the pirate and the stray cats. The stinky pirate is back over the bridge. The only thing still missing it seems is the 1 or 2 pirates on the right side with the shootout by the powder barrels.”
Pirates of the Caribbean has been at Disneyland for 50 years and counting. The popularity of Pirates of the Caribbean has also led to the creation of a themed land at Disneyland Resort, New Orleans Square, which is home to several pirate-themed attractions, restaurants, and shops.
Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Resort is a must-see attraction that has captured the hearts of generations of visitors. It’s a testament to the creative genius of Disney Imagineers, who have created a ride that continues to delight and inspire guests of all ages to explore a world of adventure, treasure, and swashbuckling fun.

The TEAM USA Bobsled team was attacked by a mysterious creature while practicing for the ongoing 2022 Winter Olympics. Reports out of Anaheim, California state that the athletes were nearly thrown off of the Matterhorn mountain while running a routine run down the side of the mountain. The creature, now being referred to as the Yeti, spoke with us anonymously about the lack of respect tourists give to his family when invading their home. Visit Inside the Magic every day for all the best news and entertainment from the worlds of themed entertainment, pop culture, and more!
A popular Disneyland Resort attraction was shut down after Guests reportedly went missing.
Disneyland Resort is an immersive experience that transports visitors to a world of magic and wonder. Whether you’re a longtime Disney fan or just looking for a fun day out, it’s a must-visit destination that will leave you with memories that last a lifetime. Disneyland is known as “The Happiest Place on Earth.” Being the happiest place, Guests expect no errors, short wait times, and magical moments that will last a lifetime.
Disneyland Resort has two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Each Disney Park includes something for Guests of all ages and sizes to experience. Disneyland Park is home to iconic attractions such as “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Space Mountain, and many more attractions.
Guests heading to Disneyland from May 1, 2023 until June 4th, 2023, will get to experience Space Mountain turned into Hyperspace Mountain. Guest will hurtle through the hyperspace while dodging furious dogfights during this high-speed Star Wars adventure.
In a social media post, Guests shared that they broke down on the first day of Hyperspace Mountain, but you’d be surprised by what happened next.
While errors and delays are expected occasionally at Disneyland, this attraction was stopped for half an hour, and the lights came on. While Guests were waiting for this attraction to start back up, other Disneyland Guests decided it was their stop and escaped from restraints and walked towards the exit.
“We were going along and came to an abrupt stop most of the way through. All the lights came on and we had to sit for a half hour. Well not all of us. A group of 3 somehow escaped their restraints and just walked out towards the exit. So cast members and security had to clear the ride before letting any of us out since we were missing people.”
When error or delays happen while at a Disney attraction, Guests should remain seated and remain calm. Disney Cast Members will be with them shortly. Never remove yourself from an attraction. This is dangerous and can result in a permanent ban from the theme parks.
In a TikTok, Guests caught them escaping off Hyperspace Mountain, and leaving. This is very dangerous and Guests should not try this.
Hyperspace Mountain is now operating as normal again.
Disneyland describes Hyperspace Mountain like this:
“Fend off cross fire from swarms of New Republic X-wing starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters amidst a galactic onslaught!
Your mission begins with a briefing from Admiral Ackbar: the New Republic needs help flying reconnaissance vessels to survey an Imperial Star Destroyer. After being escorted into hyperspace by an elite X-wing squadron, you arrive only to find the Star Destroyer waiting with a swarm of TIE fighters—it’s a trap!
As starfighter forces valiantly battle Imperial vessels, you’re caught up in a barrage of cannon fire. Maneuvers become more intense as you join the New Republic squadron for one final, courageous assault on the menacing Star Destroyer. It’s an epic Star Wars combat scene taken straight from the films—but hurry, Hyperspace Mountain is only open for a limited time!”
