Disney Guest Shuts Down Attraction After Breaking Rules

A recent ride on a Disney attraction was anything but expected for Disney Park Guests.

Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disneyland, and Hong Kong  Disneyland are all Disney Parks that bring in thousands of Guests daily for memories to be made.

Disneyland Paris has two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Each Disney Park includes something different for Guests to enjoy. At Disneyland Park, Guests can be prepared to be inspired and enchanted, for magic is in the air. Disneyland Park includes attractions such as Dumbo Flying Elephant, Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups, Peter Pan’s Flight, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Autopia, Pirate Galleon, Phantom Manor, and many more attractions.

Next door, at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Guests, can experience different worlds like Avengers Campus, World of Pixar, Toon Studio, Production Courtyard, and Front Lot. Guests can enjoy attractions such as Cars ROAD TRIP, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, Ratatouille Adventure, Spider-Man W.E.B Adventure, The Twilight Zone of Terror, and many iconic attractions.

One Guest found out the hard way by going viral on TikTok what happens when you try and film during an attraction at Disneyland Paris, however.

While visiting Disneyland Paris, @thedisnerdSwiftieGuest– from New York– found out that you cannot film on attractions at the Disney Park.

While Disney World and Disneyland California have has Guest film and not had issues, that doesn’t mean that film policies aren’t in place. Disney World’s policy includes that photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes, is prohibited.

Guests riding attractions at any Disney Park should not be recording the rides. Phones, Go-Pros, and cameras could fall and hit another Guest on the attractions, causing damage, and then subsequently, delays for the attractions to retrieve the items.

A Disney character has been up to no good! In a hilarious viral-video posted to social media, Tigger was caught misbehaving at a Disney theme Park. The lovable Disney character was having the time of his life stressing out Cast Members in the Park yesterday.

It’s not just Park Guests who have been causing trouble these days. Even some of the characters have been causing mischief in the Parks. Yesterday, while enjoying a peaceful day at Disneyland Paris, TikTok user @dlp_pass_infinity_tours caught some hilarious moments of mischief from Tigger.

Tigger quote

While strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., Tigger makes a mad dash towards a Cast Member selling ballons. Tigger snatched up the balloons and bolted away, ensuing a mad dash down the street. The Cast Member hilariously attempts to rangle Tigger. Eventually, Tigger gives the Cast Members their balloons back, plus an adorable hug.

The caption of the video says, “POV : Quand Tigrou 🐯 vole 200€ de ballon 🎈 😂.”

In english, that means “POV: When Tigger steals 200€ of balloon.”

Disney fans are loving the video @dlp_pass_infinity_tours posted. The post already has 260,300 views, 20,500 likes, and 200 comments. Everyone agrees that this character interaction was really rare and absolutely hilarious.

One commenter says, “And to think stitch was the evil one.”

A few are worries that Tigger may have gotten in trouble after this. One user comments, “And then, after this was all done, the Cast Member that played Tigger was fired.”

This is not the only hilarious video posted from this Disneyland Paris TikToker. Another video shows an adorable interaction with Tigger where we waves and bounces away. @dlp_pass_infinity_tours captions this video saying, “Tigrou 🐯 nous fais coucou 👋🏼 de la fenêtre du Plaza Gardens à Disneyland Paris ✨.” In english, this means “Tigger waving to us at the window of the Plaza Garden at Disneyland Paris.”

It seems like Tigger has had an extra fun time in Disneyland Paris recently. Fans hope he keeps up the characters michevious moments so all of us at home can stay entertained.

Disney Park Guests Evacuated from Attraction’s Rooftop

With the vast amount of Guests visiting Disney theme parks, it’s inevitable that attractions will break down or require routine maintenance on occasion. But can you imagine an evacuation from an attraction’s rooftop?!

With the vast amount of Guests visiting Disney theme parks, it’s inevitable that attractions will break down or require routine maintenance on occasion. But can you imagine an evacuation from an attraction’s rooftop?!

Hyperspace Moutain at Disneyland Paris features a Star Wars takeover of the usual Space Mountain ride experience. The classic space ride allows Guests an opportunity to “Blast off and do battle with the evil Empire in this epic takeover of a classic attraction.”

For Guests visiting Disneyland Park in Paris, Hyperspace Mountain is an extremely popular attraction as it looms over the Discoveryland portion of the Disney Park.

But, a few Guests got to experience an evacuation with impressive views as they were removed from Hyperspace Mountain via the exposed rooftop portion of the attraction.

@DLPReport shared a video via social media on November 12, 2022, with the note, “At Hyperspace Mountain, Guests are being evacuated down the cannon’s stairs due to a train stuck on top of the catapult.” Check out the video in the tweet below:

Furthermore, Hyperspace Mountain seemingly continues to have maintenance issues, as @DLPReport took to social media on November 14, 2022, to report, “Hyperspace Mountain has unexpectedly closed until Wednesday included, provisionally reopening Thursday Nov 17.”

The Disneyland Paris website currently states, “As part of our continuing efforts to exceed the expectations of our Guests, this attraction is closed today.”

While Disney does not share why the attraction is closed, with the recent evacuation, it is likely the unexpected closure is due to maintenance issues.

Ready to take a ride on Hyperspace Mountain? Check out the video below:

If you’ve never had a chance to experience Disneyland Paris’ Hyperspace Mountain, Disney describes the Star Wars Space Mountain takeover with:

“Launch yourself into Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain for a thrilling takeover of a classic space attraction. Enlist in the Rebel Alliance and attend a briefing from Admiral Ackbar. Your mission – to pilot a reconnaissance vessel and spy on an Imperial Star Destroyer.”

“It’s a Trap! To the Admiral’s despair, the Empire is expecting you, welcoming your arrival from hyperspace with open armaments. It’s down to you and your X-wing escort to blast through a swarm of deadly TIE fighters and blow up a menacing Star Destroyer. Will the Force be strong with you?”

“With a frenzy of red and green blaster fire, the wicked whirr of TIE fighters and a stunning Star Wars™ score, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is a jaw-dropping experience fit for the most fervent followers of the Force.”

More Protests Unfold at Disney Resort

Via DisDining.com

We previously shared the news that security was enhanced at one Disney Park as Guests gathered to protest the theme park reservation system implemented by Disney. Now, we’re seeing more protests unfold for the Disney Resort.

Disneyland Paris Resort is in the midst of its 30th Anniversary, but instead of celebrating, it seems like more and more Disney fans are disgruntled about the Park’s current offerings, including the addition of the Park Reservation System.

While Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort Guests are fairly used to the process of making Park Pass Reservations since the Parks reopened after COVID closures, Disneyland Paris Guests took action by performing a protest which required a heavier security presence.

Now, we’re seeing more protests unfold, but this time at Disney Village, just outside of Disneyland Paris. Disney Village is like the Disney Springs for Walt Disney World or Downtown Disney for Disneyland.

Just moments from the Disneyland Paris Park entrance, employees of Rainforest Cafe are asking for better work conditions which forced the restaurant to close.

@DLPReport took to social media to share photos of the demonstration along with the note, “At Disney Village, employees of the Rainforest Cafe independent franchisee are demonstrating for better work conditions. The location is closed today and until further notice as a result.”

As you can see in the photos, the employees are standing directly in front of the restaurant in Disney Village. There is also an enhanced presence of security for the situation.

While some of the comments say, “Good for them, get that Mouse money” and “Great. Finally people against Chapek demonstrating,” others remind them that Rainforest Cafe is an independently owned restaurant, simply located within Disney’s property.

Just like the two Rainforest Cafe locations at Disney Springs and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Disney Village’s Rainforest Cafe features the same Amazon dining experience that keeps both young and old entertained for lunch or dinner. But, sadly for these employees, they are obviously very eager to be seen and heard as they seek better working conditions.

Security Enhanced at Disney Park as Guests Gather to Protest

Security was enhanced over the weekend at one Disney Park as Guests gathered to protest the theme park reservation system implemented by Disney.

Walt Disney World Resort introduced the new system, the Park Pass Reservation System, for the first time when the Florida parks reopened following a nearly 4-month-long closure in response to the growing coronavirus pandemic in July 2020. As with anything new, the saying goes, “It takes some getting used to,” but some fans simply can’t get comfortable with a system that limits the time they can spend in their happy place.

Early on Saturday, Guests gathered just outside the gates at Disneyland Paris to protest the park reservation system, following a beefing-up of security at the Parisian park in preparation for the protests.

While The Walt Disney Company may tout its new park reservations system as an effective means of crowd control, many fans feel like the system is limiting–especially Guests who spend thousands of dollars on annual passes for themselves and their families. They’re told there are “no blockout dates,” when in reality, every date that’s already booked full is blocked out.

“No blockout dates” seems a misnomer at best.

Per another tweet from @DLPReport, Disney had already enhanced its security on Saturday, so as to be prepared for the potential demonstrations: “Security has been enhanced at the Resort’s checkpoints due to potential demonstrations outside Disney property against the park reservation system.”

The protesters were peaceful as they gathered just outside the park at the nearby train station. They also garnered the support of many who are reading about their plight on Twitter.

User @MatthewRansley responded to the tweet from @DLPReport, tweeting: “Good on them. Worst thing ever introduced. Annual passes aren’t annual we should boycott and not renew I certainly won’t be until this system is gone.”
