The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts – our celebration of the best in visual, culinary, and performing arts – returns January 14 – February 21, 2022, during The World’s Most Magical Celebration. And in 2022, we’re thrilled to welcome back the incomparable DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, with three performances each evening headlined by Broadway stars performing favorite songs from more than 25 years of award-winning DISNEY ON BROADWAY stage productions.
Here’s the full lineup of jaw-dropping talents performing at this year’s DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series:
Feb. 8, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19 & 20 – Kissy Simmons (“The Lion King”) & Michael James Scott (“Aladdin”)
Feb. 21 – Special, extended finale performance featuring Brown, Strickland, Simmons & Scott
All shows are performed at America Gardens Theatre and are included with theme park admission. Look for more information soon about DISNEY ON BROADWAY Dining Packages.
Earlier this week, we told you about the “Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway” concert that was going to air on April 13th. The foundation was originally going to be presenting a free broadcast of this production today (April 13) in order to raise money for the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund, and after some back-and-forth with unions (and a brief cancellation), the show is back on!
The concert will feature performances by our favorite Disney on Broadway veterans, to be hosted by Ryan McCartan. Broadway’s Prince Hans of the Southern Isles himself, McCartan will be hosting live from his family home. As a famous Newsie once said, wrongs will be righted if we’re united, which was fitting for the reunion of 18 Newsies set to appear from the original Broadway and touring productions.
The concert, which was originally filmed in November, is all about celebrating the 25th anniversary of Disney on Broadway. The concert has been backed by 15 musicians and has already brought in around $570,000 for Broadway Cares.
The Disney on Broadway benefit concert will stream today, Friday, April 17, at 7:00 PM (ET). You can tune in via the YouTube Live link below:

“Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” in the France pavilion, directed by Don Hahn, who produced the animated and live-action “Beauty and the Beast” films, invites guests to sing-along to this thrilling new animated twist on a “tale as old as time.” At the theater’s entrance, you can explore a new exhibit, “Tales as Old as Time: French Storytelling on Stage and Screen,” featuring a stunning display of ornate costumes, music and artwork dedicated to the adaptation of French literature in cinema, theater, ballet and opera. Don’t miss the glass slipper from the live-action “Cinderella” film or Belle’s costume from “Beauty and the Beast.” Community arts organizations from Florida also contributed pieces to the exhibit.
While visiting World Showcase, be sure to check out two new bands including Lebendig, an award-winning German pop rock band who will perform their modern take on Germany’s well-known Schlager sound in the Germany pavilion. And in the Morocco pavilion, enjoy the creative mix of traditional Gnawa music and the current sounds of Morocco with Atlas Fusion.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will return to Epcot January 17-February 24, 2020. The Festival invites guests to experience the visual, culinary and performing arts through live concerts and art performances, workshops, art signings, food and much more.
One of our favorite parts of the festival is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, where Disney on Broadway stars pair up to perform songs from award-winning productions at the America Gardens Theatre. Disney confirmed today that the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will return to the park nightly during the festival.
