Disney Announces Mickey Mouse and His Friends Will Return

Mickey Mouse is undeniably one of the most famous and iconic characters of all time. From the original Walt Disney cartoons to his daily hilarities at Disney Parks worldwide, Mickey Mouse has successfully charmed the hearts of millions. For many Disney fans, seeing Mickey Mouse on TV was one of their first introductions to the magic of Disney.

Now, a whole new generation will get to experience that sensation in a whole new way.

Many of today’s Disney adults grew up (or watched their children grow up) watching the iconic show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. This adorable children’s program aired from 2006 until 2016 and was widely successful amongst its audience on Disney Junior.

Now, a new generation of children will grow up watching Mickey Mouse and his fabulous friend group go on adventures. Disney announced the new series, which is tentatively called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2.0, earlier today. Disney explains;

“Mickey and pals welcome everyone back to the clubhouse for all-new adventures filled with songs, laughs, handy helping, and fun new surprises.”

The show will give the fab five and their friends a new animation look that is similar but not the same as the original series.

Fans of the original show will be thrilled to know that all of the beloved characters from the original will be returning, plus a new one. Duffy the Disney Bear, Mickey Mouse’s teddy bear, will also be making an appearance in the new series. Duffy is one of Walt Disney’s original characters, so his addition is extremely special for fans.

The series is still in early production; all we know is that it is set to premiere in 2025 on Disney Junior.

Disney Channel Set to Cease All Broadcasts, Effective This Month

In an unexpected turn of events, Disney Channel is set to cease all its broadcasts, effective this month.

The Walt Disney Company is undoubtedly one of the most important entertainment companies worldwide. The multi-million-dollar corporation owns Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios, in addition to Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Studios, making it easy to see why The Walt Disney Company is one of the most influential creators of entertainment content, from movies to documentaries, series, tv shows, and animation. In fact, Disney+ was changed forever by fans just months ago.

While Disney+ is slowly becoming Disney’s most important content output, with dozens of new series, shorts, movies, specials, documentaries, and so much more being released every month, many of us grew up watching the Disney Channel on TV. With shows like The Proud Family (2001-2005), Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004), The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005-2008), Phineas and Ferb (2007-2015), Hannah Montana (2006-2011), That’s So Raven (2003-2007), Even Stevens (2000-2003), Kim Possible (2002-2007), and so many more, Disney Channel was undoubtedly an essential part of millions of fans’ childhoods.

Unfortunately, it has recently been reported that Disney Channel will cease all broadcasts in Russia starting on December 14, 2022. Per the report, Disney Channel will be replaced by a new children’s channel called “Solntse,” which means “sun” in Russian. The reason for this cease of operations was not stated in the report. The cancellation of the Disney Channel comes as The Walt Disney Company revealed eye-watering news about Disney+.

Earlier this year, The Walt Disney Company halted all Russian releases, condemning the “unprovoked invasion” of Ukraine, which perhaps played a role in the development of this decision. This halt included content and product licensing, but it was reported that some channels would take time to pause their operations due to contractual nuances.

Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse

Disney Channel was first approved to broadcast in Russia in 2010 and aired Disney shows, animations, and films.

Disney+, The Walt Disney Company’s streaming platform, is also currently unavailable in Russia, meaning Disney fans in this country will significantly struggle if they want to enjoy content released by the company.

Two Disney Stars Caught in Shooting Crossfire, Multiple Victims Pronounced Dead

Via InsideTheMagic.net

If you believe in magic, or perhaps you are going through a potential breakup and need a song for it, these two Disney stars will have your back! Sister-duo Aly & AJ left their mark on Disney after having multiple songs air on the Disney Channel and their concert, and the sisters have starred in Disney Channel Original Movies, such as Cow Belles.

We have seen the sisters enjoy Disneyland vacations in the past, but it seems that on a recent trip to Crest Theatre in Sacramento for their ongoing tour, the two were caught in a terrifying situation. It seems that both Aly and AJ were stuck in the crossfire of a shooting, while on their tour bus. The singers took to Twitter to update their fans, and comment on the situation.

The ladies continued to explain what happened to them during the shooting.

Thankfully, the Disney stars were not hurt in the shooting, however, as they noted, there were others that lost their lives due to the careless act, which is a true and sad tragedy.

E! News stated that a release from the Sacramento Police Department noted, “officers responded to the sounds of shots fired in the area of 10th Street and K Street” at approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 3, 2022. It seems, “a large group of individuals as well as multiple gunshot victims.” Life-saving measures were performed on multiple victims. Six people lost their lives, while 12 sustained injuries.

Disney Channel Stars Visit Animal Kingdom

Sometimes you just have to take a break from a busy day and check out videos with tigers, porcupines, and butterflies! Disney shares three videos that feature these animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Check out the videos and details below as shared by DisneyParksBlog.

Disney Channel stars Ava Kolker and Christian J Simon from “Sydney to the Max” teamed up with the Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team and National Geographic to learn about the animals that live at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.* Ava and Christian had the unique opportunity to get up close to some of the most incredible animals on the planet and learn how the animal care experts take care of them. These previously recorded pieces showcase Sumatran tigers, zebra longwing butterflies, giant swallowtail butterflies and prehensile-tailed porcupines.

Ava and Christian worked with Dawn, an animal keeper, to prepare some food-based enrichment items for the Sumatran tigers and then delivered these to the Sumatran tigers at the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Check out the video below to find out what happens:

Ava and Christian got up close to a prehensile-tailed porcupine while learning from Conservation Manager Dr. Zak and Maria, an animal keeper, about what makes these animals unique. They even met a baby porcupine, called a porcupette!

Dr. Zak shared with Ava and Christian why butterflies are so important and provided the chance for them to interact with zebra longwing butterflies and giant swallowtail butterflies in the Pollination Garden near Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Together we can make a positive impact by protecting the places these and other animals call home. To check out more of Ava and Christian’s animal adventures, click here to visit the Disney Magic Moments collection in the DisneyNOW app. DisneyNOW is a kids-safe app with the newest episodes and current seasons of your favorite Disney Channel shows, DCOMs and dozens of games.
