Have You Ever Wanted to Stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite at Disney World?

Dreams do come true, and if you’re obsessed with Disney World like we are, we probably all have the same to-do on our magical bucket list. Most of us have heard of an almost secret, mystical place in Magic Kingdom that few have seen. It’s a place of enchantment that sits right in the middle of everything Magic Kingdom offers. It’s none other than the legendary Cinderella Castle Suite at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. If you’re anything like me, every time you pass by the castle at Magic Kingdom, you can’t help but gaze up and envision what it would be like to spend a night immersed in the enchanting Disney magic. While we can get close to living like Disney royalty in one of Disney World’s numerous Resort rooms, the ultimate experience would be to spend a night befitting a prince or princess in the Cinderella Castle Suite.

The most exclusive room at Walt Disney World cannot be purchased. If you’re hoping to spend the night inside Magic Kingdom, pixie dust won’t be enough. Originally designed to be a place for Walt and his family to stay, the space was repurposed in 2006. Although it has served as storage and as the central hub for Disney phone operations for a while, as Disney World was hosting The Year of a Million Dreams in 2007, the space was remodeled as a gorgeous suite fit for any king or queen. Although some were awarded the illustrious prize of staying in Cinderella Castle Suite during that year, the chances of being selected to spend the night in Magic Kingdom remained scarce. Since then, the suite has been used similarly, reserved as a grand prize for giveaways. However, it remains available for Disney VIPs.

Those dreams of sleeping in Cinderella’s bed are no longer just that. Thanks to a partnership with the non-profit organization Give Kids the World, your chance to stay in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom is here! Just let that sink in. While others are fighting crowds to exit the Park after the culmination of Happily Ever After, you and three Guests could be making your way up to the immaculately decorated suite inside the castle, ready to spend the night literally wrapped in all the magic that Disney World has to offer.

If you’re unfamiliar, Give Kids the World is a non-profit Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, dedicated to providing week-long vacations to families with critically ill children. ’50’ Medallion Removed From Cinderella Castle Clock at Magic Kingdom

The first 50th anniversary decorations are being removed as the large “50” medallion has been taken off the Cinderella Castle clock.

While the 50th anniversary celebrations ended on March 31, the medallion likely needed to stay for the final performance of Disney Enchantment, which took place last night. The medallion was featured in several aspects of the show, including lighting and projections.

At this time, the bunting and spire ribbons remain, but Disney has confirmed that removal will take place over an extended period of time.

All 50th Anniversary decor is expected to be removed across the four parks of the Walt Disney World Resort as the 18-month celebration comes to a close. Disney has announced that the celebratory embellishments will be removed in phases.

Cinderella Castle’s transformation into a “Beacon of Magic” brought new life to the Magic Kingdom icon through “Disney Enchantment,” a new fireworks spectacular replacing “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom, which debuted as part of the celebration. Nearly a year after its debut, “Disney Enchantment” added a new sequence to celebrate Walt Disney and his brother Roy, following lackluster feedback from guests.

At least for now, the most recent “EARidescent” repainting of the castle is expected to remain when the bunting and turret jewels are removed from Cinderella Castle. Many of the 50th anniversary decorations have already been removed from Main Street, U.S.A., as “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” comes to a close. We saw the first decorations removed at the beginning of March.

Fire Engines Respond To An Emergency In The Magic Kingdom By Cinderella Castle

Guests in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort two nights ago have shared images of emergency crews making their way down Main Street U.S.A. Orange County Emergency Services has listed the call as a fire via a 9-1-1 call log, and early Guest reports on social media mentioned smoke near Frontierland or Liberty Square, but it has since confirmed that the fire was started in the kitchen of Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle.

With the fire taking place inside Cinderella Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table, Cast Members are currently evacuating Guests from nearby areas of the park. Guest John Keegan, who was in the area and took the above photo, also shared that emergency services brought someone out from the side doors of the Emporium to the doors near Tony’s Town Square Square Restaurant on a stretcher, however, this may have just been a precaution as Disney has since confirmed that no one was hurt during the accident.

Guests who were dining inside Cinderella’s Royal Table when the fire broke out were evacuated down the back staircase of Cinderella Castle into Fantasyland where Cast Members helped move them to a safe area as emergency crews arrived on the scene.

Scott Gustin on Twitter has shared a statement by Disney confirming that the fire was small and quickly put out by using fire extinguishers and that no one was hurt during this event.

Magic Kingdom Cast Members were quick to respond to the incident, and Guests onsite report that the Cast Members they interacted with all handled the emergency situation extremely well and were quick to move Guests out of the area and keep everyone safe.

Final Draperies Installed for 50th Anniversary Décor on Cinderella Castle

We’re so excited to begin the 50th Anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World! As we gear up for the celebration to begin on October 1, Disney Imagineers are hard at work preparing for the celebration. Even the beloved Cinderella Castle is getting all dolled up for the occasion! Walt Disney Imagineer, Zach Riddley, took to Instagram to share an update on the Cinderella Castle décor.

As shared via Zach Riddley Instagram: “Last night, our @WaltDisneyImagineering and @WaltDisneyWorld teams installed the final dramatic draperies of the 50th anniversary decor on Cinderella Castle. Over the coming weeks, the team will begin to focus on crowning the castle roofs with majestic swirls of golden ribbons as we continue this royal treatment for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” starting Oct. 1, 2021.”
