Moana, Mulan & Mira Join Character Appearances at Walt Disney World

The month of May marks Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! Disney is celebrating with character appearances, as well as special food and drinks. We’re ecstatic Walt Disney World has welcomed back Moana, Mulan, and Mira to the parks!

As shared by Disney: At Magic Kingdom Park, Moana and Mulan have recently joined other favorite characters in appearances on character cavalcades and the upper level of the Main Street Railroad Station to interact with guests throughout the day.

Mulan is also visiting EPCOT once again, where you may see her welcoming guests to World Showcase as part of the Princess Processional.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mira, the royal detective from India, has joined the Disney Junior Motorcade.

We’re thrilled that Moana and Mulan will continue to make character appearances even after Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is over. You’ll only be able to see Mira through the end of June however, so be sure to snap a photo of her while you can! “A Goofy Cavalcade” Character Experience Makes Its Debut at the Newly-Reopened Magic Kingdom

t’s the world according to Goofy! In lieu of traditional character meet and greets or stage shows, Magic Kingdom has implemented character cavalcades and processionals throughout the park, allowing guests to take socially-distanced selfies and videos of their favorite characters. Announced as part of the park reopening entertainment in the Magic Kingdom, there are five differently-themed character experiences:

  • The Royal Princess Processional
  • Mickey & Friends Cavalcade
  • Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade
  • A Goofy Cavalcade
  • Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure

One of the cavalcades we are most excited for was the “A Goofy Cavalcade” which features our pal Goofy, Max, Clarabelle Cow, Panchito, and José Carioca.

Here comes Goofy and the gang!

This is such a nice way to still include characters in the park while still spreading Disney magic. You can check out “A Goofy Cavalcade” from WDWNT below!

“Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure” Cavalcade Makes its Debut at the Magic Kingdom

As a way to continue character experiences throughout the theme parks and still able to keep spreading their magic without spreading germs, new park reopening entertainment has debuted the Magic Kingdom in the form of Character Cavalcades. Taking place throughout the day, Guests will be able to view the five different themed cavalcades:

  • The Royal Princess Processional
  • Mickey & Friends Cavalcade
  • Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade
  • A Goofy Cavalcade
  • Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure

The “Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure” cavalcade is an adorable way to still see our favorite pixie as she makes her way around the Magic Kingdom. We managed to see her as she was heading into Frontierland.

Tinker Bell rides high atop a treasure chest in this spontaneous character experience.

This is such a nice way to still include characters in the park while still spreading Disney magic. To watch the entire “Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure” cavalcade, check out the video below from wdwnt.com!
