Father/Daughter Duo Jailed After Stealing Hundreds in Disney World Merchandise

Taking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is such a magical experience for the millions of people who do it every year. There is so much to see and do! Guests can visit the four main theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There are also two water parks — Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach — as well as Disney Springs.

Disney Springs is a massive shopping and dining area, full of dozens of restaurants, and great Disney-themed shops like World of Disney, Art of Disney, and Goofy’s Candy Company. There are also a huge number of stores for guests to enjoy that are not Disney-themed, like Anthropologie, Basin, Tommy Bahama, and the Coca-Cola Store.

Thousands of people visit Disney Springs every day, and many of them are there with nothing but pure intentions. However, there are also those who head to the area with more nefarious plans in mind. But, thankfully, Disney security is always on the ball, ready to stop those people.

The Daily Mail shared a video, showing officers from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office approaching a man as he shopped in the massive World of Disney Store. Disney works with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and pays them to have officers not only in Disney Springs, but also monitoring the parks  — along with their K-9 units — at all times.

The deputies approached the man while he was shopping in World of Disney with his wife and daughter. They were then taken backstage, where the mother was informed that the man and daughter were seen, on camera, stealing merchandise from the Oakley store. The woman was told she was free to go because she was not seen on the video.

Later in the video, multiple pairs of sunglasses can be seen sitting on a box, while the officers add up how much the merchandise was worth — almost $1,500. The man and his daughter were then informed that they would not only be banned from all Disney property, but that they were also being taken to the Orange County Jail.

The daughter repeatedly said that it was their first day at Disney World. She also told the officers that she recently had surgery, but that had nothing to do with the theft. She also informed them that she was a first-grade teacher and that she did not want to lose her job. Unfortunately, it does not look like she thought about that BEFORE she stole the merchandise.

The daughter also tries telling police that she was merely holding the bag, but that doesn’t appear to match with what was seen on the security footage.

Disney takes cases of theft at its resorts very seriously. Another man was recently handcuffed and hauled away by Anaheim Police Officers when he was caught stealing in the Downtown Disney District of the Disneyland Resort.

For millions of families, a trip to Walt Disney World is something that is planned months or years in advance. It is something that they look forward to — plan where they are going to eat, where they are going to stay, and what rides and attractions they have to go on. Many do not think that their magical vacation will end with someone being taken away in handcuffs.

Unfortunately, for one family, that is exactly what happened.

According to recently released court records, officers from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were called to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on November 5, 2023. They were responding to a call of an altercation that broke out at the Deluxe Resort just after 1 a.m.

The police report states that one of the responding officers spoke to Patricia Casey and Anne Warren. Ms. Warren informed officers that she and her family were visiting the Resort to celebrate their father’s 96th birthday.

Ms. Warren said that, just after midnight, she returned to her resort hotel room, where she began to argue with her sister, Ms. Casey. Ms. Casey told police that Ms. Warren became aggressive and bit her on the arm. Yes, her sister bit her on the arm.

Mr. Warren denied biting her sister on the arm, saying that she only threw a suitcase. However, the officer did note that Ms. Casey did indeed have a red mark on her arm. A third sister was in the room, but said that she did not see the bite happen. The third sister said that she only saw the two women arguing.

Police stated that Ms. Casey “refused to prosecute, testify in court, or write a statement,” but she did sign a victim confidentiality statement. Ms. Warren, however, did provide police with a sworn verbal statement, as did the third sister.

Police deemed Anne Warren the “primary aggressor” and arrested her on charges of battery (domestic violence). She was put in a police car and booked into the local jail.

We do not know if Ms. Warren, or any members of her family, were issued a trespass notice. Disney takes acts of violence very seriously and will not hesitate to ban a guest if they behave in a dangerous or violent manner.

Teenager Arrested After Attempting to Bring Gun Onto Disney Property

A shocking story has come out about one 18-year-old who made a potentially devastating mistake.

The Disney Parks worldwide are known for being magical and wholesome places for guests of all ages to enjoy. However, not all guests understand what it means to contribute to that kind of environment. Nearly every week, a report of bad guest behavior shocks and disappoints Disney fans around the world.

Just yesterday, fans were shocked and horrified to hear that one teenage guest had been arrested after security discovered a gun on him. Now, the latest news from a police source has revealed more information on this confusing situation.

On Tuesday, January 9, it was reported by French media news source 22 Minutes that a male was arrested near a Disneyland Paris Resort entrance after he attempted to bring a gun onto theme park property. The man was walking through Disney Village when he decided to take a bus to the park’s entrance. Disneyland Paris Resort policy requires a security search when entering their buses. At this routine security screening checkpoint, the weapon was found by park security and arrested by French police.

However, the story gets quite a bit more complicated. It was revealed today that the gun in question was not actually a real gun but instead a fake one. According to a prosecutor on the case, “According to the prosecutor, it is a so-called alarm pistol and blank ammunition, i.e. a weapon classified in category D.” The suspect allegedly had the fake weapon on him for his own personal protection.

While the exact motives behind the man’s actions are yet to be determined, the authorities have indicated that their investigation includes various lines of inquiry. This bizarre situation is certainly not something that Disney security sees every day.

It is imperative to note that Disneyland Paris, being a renowned landmark and a symbol of joy and enchantment, is committed to ensuring the safety and security of its visitors. Their stringent security measures and constant vigilance play a vital role in upholding the magic of the park, making incidents such as this one all the more noteworthy. Handguns are never allowed, regardless of if they are real or not!

Guests Amazed As International Hero Takes Down Bad Guys at Disney Park

The man’s arrest outside Disneyland Paris has raised concerns and prompted discussions on the overall state of security in public spaces. In a world where threats and risks persist, the incident serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by authorities in maintaining the safety of individuals and maintaining the sanctity of public spaces. Disney Resorts are always gun-free spaces for guests, and it is imperative that guests continue to comply with these rules.

Abigail Disney ARRESTED!

Disney heiress Abigail Disney has made a career out of trashing her family name. From documentaries about labor conditions to “tell-all” books about to salacious podcast interviews where she calls her great-uncle Walt a fascist she delights in making a mockery of her family name. To hear her tell it, it is all in the name of “activism.” That activism landed her in hot water today. 

The heiress to the multi-billion company was arrested today for protesting…the rich. She and 12 other climate change activists were arrested after they illegally shut down an airport in the Hamptons. The protest was aimed at stopping private jets due to their carbon emissions. The small East Hampton Airport primarily services private jets and charter flights. Commercial flights do not go in or out of the airport. The airport is located in a  glamorous neighborhood known to be vacation homes of various celebrities and wealthy business executives.  

What does climate change have to do with the rich? According to Disney everything. Disney said, “As a person who has been privileged enough to use private jets, I know it’s hard to give up a luxury that is special, but I also know that the time has passed for spewing greenhouse gasses like this merely for our personal comfort.” 

Teddy Ogborn, a  spokesperson for Planet Over Profit explained  that, “These same rich people farting into the Hamptons on private jets are often the ones who make their money in industries that hugely accelerate the climate crisis.”

I guess they forgot that third world countries where there is no  “ultra-rich” class are the main proponents of climate-changing emissions. According to Brookings.edu, developing countries “are likely to emit more than half the annual global total of greenhouse gas by 2030.” It’s  a lot less comfortable to protest there than the Hamptons though, I suppose. 

For her part, Abigail Disney was proud of her arrest and bragged about it on Twitter this evening after posting bail (something only the privileged can afford to do but she probably doesn’t want to discuss that either). She proudly proclaimed she had “popped her mug-shot cherry.”

It’s interesting that she, a Disney heiress, would be protesting the rich when in 2019 she said this, “To most normal people, what I spend on a really good dinner at a really good restaurant, that would be horrifying.”  

The protest at the airport today was just the first of many that the groups Abigail Disney associates with have planned. Tomorrow they plan to protest a golf course in the Hamptons and on Monday they intend to bring pitchforks and gather outside of a CitiBank executive’s home. They stated they are planning their protests strategically to “disrupt public areas in an effort to push leaders to take more aggressive actions to curb global warming.” 

Guest Arrested at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

For millions of families every year, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are the ideal locations for their dream vacations. Getting to soak up the magic of your favorite stories is an experience like no other, and Disney Parks offer an immersive and entertaining experience truly unlike any other.

Many Guests love that visiting Disney feels like an escape from reality. When you are in the Disney bubble, it can feel like any problem if the rest of the world melts away. However, sometimes a harrowing situation within the Parks is all you need to snap out of the Disney haze.

It seems that lousy Guest behavior has been a repeating issue at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Both of these Parks have been suffering from a larger-than-normal influx of Guest issues. These issues range from some “Karen” attacks to shocking and disturbing criminal behavior. 

Unfortunately, these disturbances and pushing fans further away from the Parks. Some fans don’t feel that the Parks are fun and wholesome anymore.

As a cherry on top of the neverending recent list of issues, Guests are now reporting that there was an arrest made at Disneyland Resort today. The arrest reportedly took place on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a thrilling roller coaster located in the Frontierland of Disneyland Park.

As of now, there is limited information about what the arrest was for. One Guest reached out on Twitter to investigate if anyone knew more about the situation on the arrest at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, saying;

“Any one know the details of why someone was apparently arrested after being escorted off BTMR?”

This arrest, as well as several other recent issues at Disney’s theme parks, has exposed a terrifying trend within the Parks. Disney is meant to be a safe and wholesome place for all ages, and hearing about these incidents all the time paints the Parks in a negative light.
