Disney’s Skyliner Merchandise

What’s more exciting than the Disney Skyliner opening this weekend?

How about its own full collection of merchandise!

So far, there have been a few items, like Christmas ornaments, trickle into stores across property, but coming soon is a full line of apparel, accessories, and even fun toys and Funko Pop vinyl figures to commemorate the new transportation system. Revealed today during Cast Member previews is this full assortment of opening day products for the Skyliner.

Coming up soon are a series of men’s and women’s tees, plus lanyards, mugs, socks, a clear tumbler, baseball cap, MagicBand, deluxe art print, and even toy gondola vehicles. We got a sneak peek of the trading pins to come, and the ornaments and buttons are already out on property.

Of course, Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders will also be getting their very own exclusive Skyliner merchandise, with a long sleeve hoodie, trading pin, and gondola vehicle available for passholders and an exclusive MagicBand featuring Mickey and Minnie for DVC members.

Probably the most unexpected, yet exciting item out of the bunch is this Disney Skyliner Funko Pop figure featuring Mickey. A parks exclusive, this Funko Pop is set to be released sometime in November.

New MagicBand Designs Available for Annual Passholders

New MagicBand designs available only to Walt Disney World Passholders will continue be released throughout the year, so guests can accessorize for every season. You may recall that the 2019 Mickey Mouse and Cinderella Castle design was released back in June.

Starting October 1,  Passholders can find the Goofy and Tree of Life design “wherever MagicBands are sold”, according to Disney.

More Passholder-exclusive models will be released throughout the year and will be available while supplies last.

New MagicBand Upgrade For September

As we have laid out in previous posts, for resort guests or annual passholders can upgrade their complimentary MagicBands for premium character bands.

These have been a hot item each month. Here are the bands currently available for the upgrade.

Current bands include an adorable new Chef Mickey MagicBand for Epcot Food & Wine 2019, a Genie MagicBand, and even the latest Figment band to hit the shelves. Do note that all of these in this row are currently priced at a discounted $10.00, except for the Food & Wine band.

V.I.Passholder Pop-Up Event At Epcot

Walt Disney World Passholders are invited to a pop-up event at Epcot on September 10 to celebrate the release of the new Arendelle Aqua merchandise collection. The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Future World West located to the right of Flavors from Fire. 

Passholders who attend will be among the first to purchase this new color collection that is inspired by the animated film, “Frozen.” This collection includes a wide assortment of items including Minnie Ears, t-shirts, ombre tumbler, Mickey balloon popcorn bucket, exclusive pin, Loungefly backpack and, of course, a spirit jersey!

Passholders will also be able to have the first taste of Arendelle Aqua-themed treats by purchasing food and beverage items such as a sponge cake, cupcake, and slushies.

Registration is not required to attend this event but a valid annual pass card and photo ID are required at event entrance and when purchasing Arendelle Aqua-themed food and beverage items. Activities and offerings are subject to change without notice. Merchandise available while supplies last. The 20% Passholder merchandise discount is applicable for merchandise purchases during this event.

Passholder Perks Added to Epcot

Disney is adding some brand new passholder perks at Epcot, including discounts and special treats!

Are you a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder? Then you won’t want to miss out on these new “V.I.PASSHOLDER Perks” that can help you make the most of summer visits to Epcot.

Reserved Seating for an Out-of-this-World Concert Series – Passholders can enjoy reserved seating on a first-come, first-served basis for concerts taking place July 29-August 18 at America Gardens Theatre. Simply enter on the left side of the theatre (that’s the Japan side!) and show your valid annual pass and photo ID for access to the Annual Passholder section.

Receive a 10% Discount at Fife & Drum and Block & Hans – Passholders will receive a 10% discount on non-discounted food and beverage items, including alcohol, at these locations from July 29-August 18. Passholders must present their valid annual pass and photo ID to receive discount. Must use non-cash payment methods including credit and debit cards and gift cards.

Try A “Secret” Sunshine Seasons Treat – Head to Sunshine Seasons inside The Land pavilion and ask for the Annual Passholder Secret Treat (it’s so secret, we can’t even show a photo of it here!). This secret menu item will be available for purchase from July 29-August 28 while supplies last.

Get a Complimentary Sweet Treat at Coral Reef Restaurant – In addition to receiving a 10% discount at this dining location, Annual Passholders who dine at Coral Reef and purchase an adult entree from July 29-August 28 will receive an exclusive, complimentary dessert: prosecco ice-cream with berries, whipped cream, raspberry powder, and fresh mint. (Limit: one complimentary dessert per adult entrée per passholder. A 10% discount applies to the non-discounted price of food and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding applicable tax and gratuity) during all available meal periods and is valid for the Passholder and up to three (3) guests). Passholders must present their valid annual pass and photo ID to receive dessert and discount.
