Hong Kong Disneyland Extending Annual Passholder Dates Due To Coronavirus Closings

Amid the Coronavirus outbreak in China, we’ve seen both Shanghai Disney Resort as well as Hong Kong Disneyland Resort both close due to the virus and to keep the public safe. Even Tokyo Disney Resort has advised visiting guests to take special precautions.

Today, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort released an official announcement regarding annual passes (what they call Magic Access) that reads:

Due to the Park’s temporary closure in line with the prevention efforts taking place across Hong Kong, the Magic Access membership validity dates will be extended according to the membership tiers. Details will be announced on the official website in due course. Thank you for your continued support to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Topolino’s Terrace @ Disney’s Riviera Resort Now Accepting Tables In Wonderland

Mere weeks after opening, Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort is now participating in the Tables in Wonderland program. Previously, the restaurant only accepted discounts for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, as well as the Disney Dining Plan.

Benefits of Tables in Wonderland include:

  • A 20% discount offered on food and beverage, including alcohol, at over 100 participating restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort (discount is valid for a party of up to 10 guests including the member)
  • Special dining offers
  • Invitations to special dining events
  • Complimentary Resort hotel valet and theme park parking for dining purposes

Membership is $175 for Florida Residents and $150 for Walt Disney World Resort Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Annual Passholder Exclusives @ Epcot International Festival of The Arts

New Limited Release Goofy MagicBand

The new Walt Disney World Annual Passholder limited release Goofy MagicBand featuring Goofy himself in front of the Tree of Life has been released.

Passholders can find this new release across property “wherever MagicBands are sold” according to Disney, so be on the lookout.

The band is a light blue, featuring Goofy enjoying himself in front of the Tree of Life on one side of the band. You will find the vintage Walt Disney World logo with “2019 Passholder” on the other side and a plain puck, just as the previous release with Mickey and Cinderella castle.
