Adventures by Disney Cancels Most Trips Through October 31st Due to COVID-19

After canceling all trips through September 30th, Adventures by Disney has announced that, for the safety and well being of all guests and Cast Members, nearly all trips through October 31st, 2020 have been suspended, with the exception of Southern California adventures.

Adventures by Disney has been closely monitoring the latest information regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and is in regular contact with local, state, national and international health agencies for information and guidance.

With the wellbeing of our Guests and team members as our top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Adventures by Disney has made the decision to suspend most departures through October 31, 2020.  

Note: This does not impact guests booked on the Southern California adventures.

Most interestingly is that Southern California adventures include a visit to the Disneyland Resort and a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Currently, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure remain closed, with resort hotels cancelling reservations through August 29th. Should the adventures happen as scheduled, it may mean that resorts hotels will reopen sometime in the next few weeks.

At Disneyland Resort, the flowers are bright and beautiful — from Fantasyland to Cars Land, including a strikingly colorful entrance to Disneyland park.

Shanghai Disney Resort

Nature blooms in vivid color this time of year at Shanghai Disney Resort, as cherry and plum blossoms, apple floral archways, tulips, roses and more transform the landscape into a fantastic natural wonderland.

Disneyland Paris

At Disneyland Paris, lush, colorful flowers spiral out from the hub of Disneyland Park at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, better known here as Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.

Even at Walt Disney Studios Park, guests are greeted with lively poppies at the feet of one of only five Partners statues around the world depicting Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse together.

This time of year, a favorite Adventures by Disney vacation spot  – the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland – will give you goose-bumps with breathtaking flowers in an area of immense natural beauty.

And at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, the gorgeous landscape is filled with plants and brilliant green trees and offers unforgettable scenes of beauty.

All River Cruises Suspended Through June

After cancelling most trips through May due to concerns over the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Adventures by Disney has now suspended all river cruises through June.

The following announcement was sent to all Adventures by Disney guests and their travel agents:

With the wellbeing of our Guests and Guides as our top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Adventures by Disney along with AmaWaterways has decided to suspend June River Cruises and the associated Escape trips. All impacted guests and travel agents will be contacted by Adventures by Disney.

Cancelled Trips:

  • Rhine River Cruise: 6/14/20
  • Rhine River Cruise: 6/28/20
  • Rhone River Cruise: 6/11/20
  • Seine River Cruise: 6/11/20
  • Danube River Cruise: 6/20/20
  • Danube River Cruise: 6/27/20
  • Amsterdam Escape: 6/21/20
  • Budapest Escape: 6/25/20
  • Paris Escape: 6/9/20
  • Paris Escape: 6/18/20
  • Amsterdam Escape: 7/5/20

This also includes all Alaskan Wonders cruise packages booked in conjunction with Disney Cruise Line due to new regulations from the Canadian government not allowing any ship with more than 500 passengers to dock in any Canadian port until July 1, at the earliest.
