Iconic Disney Attraction Leaves Guests Stuck for Hours

A popular Disneyland attraction recently broke down, and Guests were stuck for hours.

Disneyland is a world-renowned theme park located in Anaheim, California. Opened in 1955, it was the first of the Disney Parks and is often referred to as “The Happiest Place on Earth.” Disneyland Resort has two theme parks Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Disney Parks sees thousands of Guests daily.

Disneyland Park is divided into eight themed areas, each with its own unique attractions and experiences. These areas include Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, and recently opened Mickey’s Toontown.

One of the most popular areas of the park is Fantasyland, where guests can experience classic Disney fairy tales and ride iconic attractions such as “it’s a small world” “Peter Pan’s Flight,” and Matterhorn Bobsleds.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

A iconic Disneyland Park attraction has been dealing with issues, delays, and errors while Guests are waiting and on the attraction. “it’s a small world” has been around since its debut at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. This attraction takes guests on a gentle boat ride through various regions of the world while accompanied by the famous Sherman Brothers song, “It’s a Small World (After All).”

The attraction features over 300 audio-animatronic dolls representing different cultures and ethnicities, dressed in traditional clothing, and singing the famous song in their native language. The dolls move and dance to the music, creating a charming and whimsical experience. Guests can also spot Peter Pan and Tinker Bell in England, Cinderella in her native France, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket in Italy, Aladdin and Jasmine in the Middle East, The Three Caballeros in Mexico, Ariel and Flounder under the sea, Lilo and Stitch in the South Pacific and Woody, Bullseye and Jessie in the southwestern U.S.A.

The ride’s scenery and set design are also impressive, featuring iconic landmarks and architectural styles from various regions around the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Guests can spot the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, and the Egyptian pyramids, among other landmarks.

In a recent TikTok, Guests that were enjoy a ride on “it’s a small world” when it comes to a halt and the music stops playing. In the video you can hear Guests calling for help.

Disneyland Park closes at 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m. depending on the day, meaning these Guests who were trapped on the ride for hours and didn’t get off until 12:45 a.m. got a special experience to see the Park well after it closed. Though they didn’t get to stay the entire night, it was probably pretty cool to be able to stay overnight for a bit in the theme park and see what it looks like basically empty.

While in the video you can see Cast Members giving high fives and trying to cheer Guests back up after being stuck for so long. Cast Members do their best at keep Disney magic alive and the safety of Guests are their top priority.
