A Tony Award winner and one of the most prolific actors in the Star Wars franchise are joining the lineup of narrators for the Candlelight Processional at this year’s Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
Chita Rivera will narrate December 11th and 12th, while Warwick Davis will narrate December 19th, 20th, and 21st.
Chita Rivera has been performing on Broadway since the 1950’s, starring in such iconic shows as Guys & Dolls, West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie, and Chicago. A ten-time Tony Award nominee, River won the Tony for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical in 1993 for her work in Kiss of the Spider Woman. Rivera recieved a Kennedy Center Honor in 2002, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.
if you’re a fan of a franchise, Warwick Davis has been in it. Having made his screen debut in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi as Wicket the Ewok, Davis has gone on to star in such roles as Willow Ufgood in Willow, the title role in the Leprechaun series of films, Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter franchise, and as himself in the television series Extras. Most recently, he appears as Lickspittle in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
