a Tropical Storm May Be Headed for Walt Disney World

If you’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort, especially more than once, then you know that Florida has two settings: sunshine and rain.

In fact, rain and thunderstorms are so common in the Sunshine State that Floridians can even smell when a storm is coming (source: the author is a native Floridian, and she can tell you whether the clouds are worth worrying about with just a sniff).

But the National Hurricane Center is currently sniffing out something bigger than your average Central Florida storm. According to the National Hurricane Center, a tropical storm could be forming.

Although a tropical storm may sound like a fancy way of saying ‘thunderstorm,’ it’s worth noting that the two are incredibly different. Tropical storms form when the winds reach 39 miles per hour or higher, making them much more dangerous and challenging to navigate than a thunderstorm (which is already difficult to navigate through).

This year’s hurricane season begins on June 1, and yet a potential storm has already been spotted on the horizon.

According to a report by the Orlando Sentinel, the National Hurricane Center has begun tracking something “in the Atlantic east of Florida with a small chance of forming into a tropical depression.”

Rainy Day

Reportedly, the system that has been spotted has a 10% chance of turning into a tropical storm within the next couple of days. However, it’s no secret that a tropical storm can quickly develop into a hurricane, heading straight for Central Florida.

If this storm develops further, it could easily disrupt many Guests’ plans for visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

Time to plan our next magical vacation!

Disney's Animal Kingdom

Per Disney World’s website, the “4-Park Magic Ticket” includes one admission to each of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks—Magic Kingdom park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios—for a total of four admissions, on four separate days.

“4-Park Magic Ticket” offers are limited to one admission per theme park and one theme park per day, meaning you could not visit your favorite theme park twice nor have Park Hopper benefits while taking advantage of this special offer. Two People Were Just Banned for Life at Disney World

Guests have seen a viral TikTok of Disney World Guests fighting in a bloody battle, but we were unsure what happened to these Guests.

Disney World is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” However, on May 15, 2023, Disney Parks were wild with outraged Guests. Disney World is home to four theme parks, Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each Disney Park includes something for Guests of all ages and sizes to experience.

A fan-favorite Disney Park is Magic Kingdom. Throughout Magic Kingdom, Guests can meet and interact with beloved Disney characters, from Mickey Mouse and Cinderella to Buzz Lightyear and Moana. There are also spectacular parades, fireworks, and live shows that bring the magic to life. Magic Kingdom’s iconic centerpiece is Cinderella Castle, an enchanting symbol of Disney’s fairy tales. The castle serves as a breathtaking backdrop for fireworks displays that light up the night sky, leaving visitors in awe.

Recently, Disney Dining covered a bloody brawl that happened at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park near the front of the train station. This brawl started as one family asked another family to take their photo. Official reports say that at least one person was injured but declined to press charges. Two others were escorted out of the Magic Kingdom Park by security.

Brawl at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort

Newser gave an update on the two Guests that were escorted out of Magic Kingdom. These two Guests received a lifetime ban from Disney Parks, and if they stepped foot on any Disney Property, they could be arrested for trespassing.

“Two other unspecified people involved in the incident were removed from the park and issued a trespass warning, Fox 35 Orlando reports. That means if they set foot in Disney World again, they can be arrested. “They are not welcome on the property,” a sheriff’s office spokesperson says.

Disney World is a place of happiness and excitement, but even occasional incidents involving unruly Guests happen from time to time. These incidents, however infrequent, may involve disagreements, arguments, or altercations between individuals. Disney World strives to create an environment where Guests can escape the outside world and immerse themselves in a magical experience. If Guests see a incident like this find your nearest Disney Cast Member, and they will handle the situation.

Magic Kingdom Cast Members GO to the Next Level When Classic Attraction Goes Down

It’s no secret that Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is old. After all, the celebration for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort just ended, meaning that Magic Kingdom is over 50 years old.

Some of the most classic attractions in the Disney Park are just as old. Whether an attraction is 50 years old or has just turned 10, it’s not uncommon for the age to result in some wear and tear.

Pirates of the Caribbean Disneyland

That’s why some attractions such as the Haunted Mansion, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Pirates of the Caribbean break down so often.

However, when Pirates of the Caribbean recently broke down for a few days in a row, the Cast Members quickly came up with the perfect solution:

This video shows that the Cast Members have mapped out the ride vehicle on the ground with tape. As Guests sit in the pretend ride vehicle, the Cast Members read from the ride’s actual script, acting as the animatronic characters.

In the video above, the Cast Members are acting out the auction scene from the attraction, which takes place after the iconic interrogation scene.

While it’s not exactly the same experience as riding Magic Kingdom’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, it’s definitely an example of Cast Members going above and beyond.

It’s moments like these that create such long-lasting memories for those visiting Walt Disney Word. Even if the attraction is down, anyone who experienced this homemade version of Pirates of the Caribbean will never forget it.

New Details Emerge After Bloody Brawl at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom made headlines on May 16, 2023 but not for the rides, the food, or the parades. Guests were misbehaving…again. This is becoming an all too common occurrence. It had gotten so bad that Walt Disney World even updated its website, asking guests to behave and warning them of severe consequences if they do not. It seems not everyone got the memo.

A fight broke out between two families in front of the train station near the front entrance. Soon after it occurred, and at the time, there wasn’t a lot of information to go on. We now know more about the knock-down drag-out and the motivations behind it. The altercation began over a photo. You read that right—a photo.

Sheriff’s Deputies say that the fight began around 2:30 pm when one family (Family A) wanted to take a photo with the Disney100 sign commemorating the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary. The only problem? Another family (Family B) happened to be standing in the way. A member of Family A asked Family B to move so they could take their photo, which didn’t sit well with Family B.

A member of Family B punched a member of Family A in the face. Then more members of Family B jumped in, and chaos ensued. What began as a simple request turned into an all-out brawl. Family B was substantially larger than Family A and did not hold back. They ganged up on the smaller group, and the punches kept flying.

Official reports say that at least one person was injured in the melee but declined to press charges. That individual was treated on the scene after the fight ended. Two others were escorted out of the park by security.

Bystanders recorded the fight and uploaded it almost immediately to social media, where it quickly went viral. Fox35 managed to obtain one of the bystander videos, which can be seen here:

The fight at Magic Kingdom is not the first violent disagreement to occur in a Disney Park, and unfortunately, it isn’t likely to be the last.
