Trailer Released for “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers,” Premiering on Disney+ March 26th

The quack attack is back! Disney has released a trailer for “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers,” a new series premiering on Disney+ March 26th.

Emilio Estevez reprises his role as Gordon Bombay, made famous in the Mighty Ducks trilogy of films. Joining him are Lauren Graham and Brady Noon to inspire a new generation of fans.

The official description from Disney:

“Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.”

Multiple Series of Shows Related to Disney Attractions Coming To Disney+

Ronald D. Moore is in the process of developing multiple TV projects at Disney Plus that will be set in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, according to Variety.

The first such project will be “The Society of Explorers and Adventurers,” which Moore will write and executive produce. The series is loosely based on the fictional organization of the same name that is part of the Disney theme parks. Mystic Manor, The Jungle Cruise, Tokyo DisneySea’s Tower of Terror and Soaring Fantastic Flight are among the places guests can learn more about the story behind the organization.

“In the show, the themed lands and characters of the Disney parks and classic films all actually exist in another reality.”

Moore is also said to be working with the Walt Disney Imagineering Team on the other projects, which would amount to an interconnected universe similar to Marvel or “Star Wars” but within the world of the Disney theme parks.

Reps for Disney and 20th Television declined to comment.

New Parental Controls Coming to Disney+

Ok parents, take note – new parental controls are coming to Disney+ on Tuesday, February 23rd. Disney+ is trying to keep streaming choices suitable for audiences depending on their ages, so family-friendly experiences are all the little eyes will see.

As reported by WhatsOnDisneyPlus: “The new parental controls will include the ability to set limits on access to content for specific profiles based on content ratings and the ability to add a PIN to lock profiles with access to mature content.  This can help stop younger viewers from flipping to another family members profile to get around the lock. Here is a look at the new age rating settings for profiles:”

“Currently, Disney+ only offers two types of profiles, one unrestricted and one limited profile for children under 7.  The children’s profile also limits content that has culture advisory warnings like Peter Pan. Examples of some current ratings include: WandaVision is rated 12+, Wolverine is rated 16+, The Incredible Dr Pol is rated 9+, Moana is rated 6+, Toy Story is rated 0+. “
