Walt Disney World Has the Emptiest Fourth of July Weekend in YEARS

When it comes to planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, one of the most critical factors that Guests consider is the crowd levels. Disney World is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and as a result, it can get very crowded at times.

Fans hoping to experience the Parks in a less busy state often will be strategic in picking the best time and dates for their trip. Often, fans use a crowd calendar to monitor when would be a good time to vacation. Weekends, special events, school vacations, and holidays are usually times when Guests can expect heavy crowds in the Parks. However, that might now be the case this holiday weekend.

Usually, the Fourth of July is one of the busiest times to visit the Parks all year long. This weekend is very popular amongst families who are trying to spend some quality time on the long weekend. Walt Disney World Resort will be offering an incredible selection of entertainment, food, and fireworks, making it the perfect place to celebrate America’s birthday.

While the Disney Parks are definitely busy this holiday weekend, the numbers are shockingly lower than in previous years. Thrill-data.com is a website that compares crowd levels and wait times in Disney Parks. The data from their website shows that wait times for the 2023 weekend at Magic Kingdom Park are 30% less than in 2022 and 2019.

This trend is also being seen in the other Parks at Walt Disney World Resort. This brings up the question: is the influx of post-pandemic vacations finally over? It seems that things may be back to normal or even less busy than before as far as crowd level goes. It will be fascinating to see how this all plays out as Halloween and the Holiday season at the theme Park approaches closer.

Disney World Venue Named “Most Award-Winning Restaurant in the U.S.”

A Disney World restaurant has won the title of Most Award-Winning Restaurant in the United States, and the venue offers an experience that’s among some of the most wished-for experiences at the parks.

Disney World is the most magical vacation destination on earth. The Central Florida Disney Resort offers world-class entertainment, thrilling attractions, state-of-the-art ride technologies, exceptional Resort hotel accommodations, and great food–lots and lots of food. And Guests who frequent the parks always have their favorite dining venues–and those they plan to experience on a future visit to the parks.

One of the Walt Disney World restaurants at the top of many Guests’ Disney experience wish lists has just been named the “Most Award-Winning Restaurant in the United States,” though it’s a venue that many Guests have yet to experience–and one that some never even knew existed.

According to a Trips to Discover survey that compiled the top 10 most award-winning restaurants in the United States, the #1 most award-winning dining spot in the country is located just outside of Orlando–in the city of Bay Lake, Florida, at the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, it’s the only restaurant in the state of Florida to make the list.

The survey looks at awards won by restaurants around the country and included in its compilation many 3-Star Michelin, 5-Star Forbes, and AAA-rated restaurants and used reviews from TripAdvisor and Google scores to create the ranking. The #1 spot belongs to Victoria & Albert’s restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Couple Gives Birth to Baby Boy at Walt Disney World

According to an article published by Yahoo.com, a mom and dad welcomed a bouncing baby boy at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. It’s unclear if this was their intention, but Miriam and Andy took their RV on a last-minute trip to Walt Disney World, and that was all she wrote.

After only two days at the Resort, Miriam gave birth to her son in the camper on Disney property. All indications suggest that the baby, mom, and dad are doing well. Talk about pixie dust, right? It seems as if Miriam works closely with other birthing mothers, as she had this to say:

“Of all births I have attended as a birth worker, without biases, I can say this one was the coolest.”

Miriam also went on to say that she craved corndog nuggets from Casey’s Corner at Magic Kingdom after giving birth. We’re confident that having a baby in an RV would work up the appetite. It’s good that Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is relatively close to Magic Kingdom, and they have stroller rentals. Miriam and Andy are going to need them.

Fort Wilderness

If you’re unfamiliar, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is considered a deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World, while the cabins are considered moderate. There are RV spaces that can be rented for campers as well. The Resort sits south of Bay Lake, making it an excellent location for Guests who wish to visit Magic Kingdom.
