Disney unexpectedly announced a SECOND round of free dining offers. This is one sale that everyone goes nuts over – FREE Dining! You pay for your room and tickets, and Disney World will pick up the tab for your food. How awesome is that? Be aware that the number of rooms available for this promotion are always very limited and since this is Disney’s most popular sale those spots fill up fast!

The free dining promotion has limited availability and will end when rooms allocated for this promotion sell out. The promotion is available for the following dates and with the following restrictions.

Dining Experience Returning to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Attending a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is one of the best ways to celebrate the season. That’s why we’re excited that Disney has announced the return of a great add-on experience offered during the party. Catch all the details below.

 Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party is returning this year to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! You can make a reservation now!

The festive and joyous experience will take place from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (beyond the party’s midnight end time!) at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park

You and your party can raise a glass to the spirit of the seasons as you mingle in and out of this holly, jolly party to enjoy an assortment of themed food and beverage offerings, including beer and wine in a fun, festive atmosphere complete with a beautiful view of Town Square, upbeat holiday hits, and décor. The evening will also feature entertainment by the one and only Tony himself.

But that’s not all! At 11:00 p.m., you have reserved viewing for the enchanting “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” as it makes way down Main Street, U.S.A.

Please note, seating is available for guests as they dine on a first come, first serve basis and shared seating is encouraged amongst guests to enjoy both the food and company the party has to offer.

Liberty Inn to Close – New Restaurant to Open

Disney has announced that a new quick-service restaurant will be coming to the American Adventure in Epcot. The Liberty Inn will be closing on July 8 to make way for an all-new barbecue and craft brew restaurant. 

The American Adventure at Epcot is a fan favorite pavilion to visit. With the show and the “Voices of Liberty” singing group, this pavilion will now add the Regal Eagle Smokehouse.

The new location will be a modern barbecue smokehouse including a large smoker preparing fine food every day right on the pavilion’s promenade. There will also be a redesigned patio for people to enjoy a brew, some barbecue, and relax inside Epcot.

Current Narrators for Candlelight Processional Announced – More To Come

During the Christmas season, one of the highlights events each year at Epcot is the nightly Candlelight Processional. Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the biblical tale of a savior born to a virgin in Bethlehem. All the while, gorgeous choral pieces are woven into the production as an orchestra and choir provide and inspirational backdrop with songs of hope and joy.

Thanks to Disney Parks Blog, we have a look at the current confirmed line-up of celebrity narrators.  The list will be updated as we get closer to the event, but below is what we know so far:

  • Neil Patrick Harris – 12/2-12/5
  • Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
  • Gary Sinise – 12/13-12/15
  • Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
  • Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
  • Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

The Candlelight Processional is performed three times per night at 5 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM. Guests can guarantee seating at the event by booking a breakfast, lunch or dinner Candlelight Processional Dining Package at select Epcot dining locations.  Booking for these packages will be available starting on July 3rd, 2019.
