Serves 4
Ingredients:
8 thick slices day-old challah bread
2 ripe bananas
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
6 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup low-fat chocolate milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Chocolate syrup and powdered sugar, optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Coat a 9x13x2-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
Cut bread into 1-inch cubes and place in a large bowl. Slice bananas into 1/2-inch slices, and add to bowl. Stir in chocolate chips.
Combine peanut butter, eggs, chocolate milk, cinnamon, and salt in a blender. Process until smooth.
Pour egg mixture over bread mixture. Stir gently until bread cubes have absorbed egg mixture.
Pour mixture into prepared baking pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
Before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Chef’s Note: Challah is traditional Jewish yeast bread, rich with eggs, sweetened with honey that makes the best French toast.

Halloween is such a fun time of year! To celebrate all year long and to bring some spooky Disney magic at home, Disney has released some delicious recipes.
From a Disney Cast Member;
For many of us, the Halloween season is a favorite time of year with all the creative costumes (for humans and pets!), festive parties, over-the-top decorations, and, of course, fabulous food!
In honor of our #Halfway2Halloween celebration, I was excited to feature a couple of my favorite Disney Halloween and fall recipes from years past. (Full disclosure – I love anything pumpkin!)
The challenge? I could not decide which were my top two favorites so I turned to my team to select their favorites. The challenge? We had a six-way tie!
So here you go – in no particular order – our favorite autumnal Disney recipes (plus a just plain adorable sugar cookie!) to celebrate Halfway2Halloween. And a bonus – the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée recipe is new and exclusive to Disney Parks Blog. Click the links below each photo for the downloadable recipe. Happy Halfway2Halloween!
These twists of pumpkin delight are super easy to make with frozen puff pastry. The pumpkin pie filling is what makes this delicious hand-held snack so special … for all you Halloweenies out there! Click here for a print-at-home version of this recipe.
Of course, we give Halloween icon Jack Skellington his own cookie! Have fun baking and decorating this treat any time of the year. Beverage choice – milk, of course! Click here for a print-at-home version of this recipe.
Everything about this Pumpkin Crème Brûlée will “wow” family and guests. This French classic with a nod to the Halloween season is actually easier to make than you think and definitely worth the effort – promise! Click here for a print-at-home version of this recipe.

Previously, DisneyDining brought you the exciting news that the Candlelight Processional will be back again this year at EPCOT during the 2021 International Festival of the Holidays! It’s probably some of the best news we’ve heard in a while!
And to add to the excitement, Disney has just announced the names of some of the celebrities who will be on hand as celebrity narrators during the Processional. A few are new, and some are Candlelight Processional “regulars.” So far, we’ve learned that the following celebs will join Guests at EPCOT this holiday season:
Chita Rivera – November 29 through December 1
Jodi Benson – December 2 through December 4
Alton Fitzgerald White – December 5 through December 7
You can see from the list that there are gaps in the dates, meaning those spots more than likely have not yet been confirmed, and more names will be added to the list as we approach the opening date for this year’s festival, which is November 26. This year’s amazing festival will run through December 30, 2021.
On October 26, Disney will begin to accept reservations for all of its Candlelight Processional Dining Packages. These exciting dining experiences include a prix fixe meal at select EPCOT restaurants and reserved seating during a Candlelight Processional performance.
This year, the available dining locations include the following four choices:
Biergarten Restaurant– $62 for adults, $35 for children
Coral Reef Restaurant – $74 for adults, $25 for children
Garden Grill Restaurant – $71 for adults, $46 for children
Rose & Crown Dining Room – $63 for adults, $25 for children
