BIG Changes Were Just Made to Disney World’s Vacation Booking Process

When it comes to a Walt Disney World vacation, half of the fun is the excitement that comes from planning. Which Disney Park to visit, how many days to stay, where to stay at-there’s so many fun questions to ask.

But one of the most exciting aspects is choosing the right Disney World Resort hotel to stay at. Whether you’re searching for a deluxe Resort, a moderate Resort, or a value Resort, Walt Disney World has it all.

All in all, there are dozens of Disney World Resorts to choose from, making the choice difficult. As if it couldn’t get any more confusing, once you’ve chosen the right Disney Resort hotel for you, you’re also tasked with finding the right room.

Luckily, some changes have been made that will simplify the entire process.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa DVC Room

If you’ve planned a Walt Disney World vacation before, you can probably remember how many options there were when booking a room. Not only did you have to choose the specific room size, but then you had to choose the room type as well.

But thanks to the new changes, there are only three main categories of room types: Resort view, theme park view, and water view. Each of these room types will only be shown when available and applicable.

Some of the room types change depending on which Disney World Resort hotel the user is viewing, as well. To see these new changes, simply visit Walt Disney World’s official website and check out any deluxe Resort, moderate Resort, or value Resort. And if you get a headstart on your next Disney vacation, it’s just a win/win!
