A new, out-of-this-galaxy “Stormtrooper Plane” celebrating the recent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is ready to take to the skies!
Disney and LATAM Airlines Group just unveiled the special edition Boeing 777 aircraft at a Star Wars-inspired event in São Paulo, Brazil. The “Stormtrooper Plane” was designed by Disney’s creative team along with Lucasfilm.
To create the amazing art on the exterior of the aircraft, teams worked for more than 21 days and needed more than 2,500 liters of ink.
The aircraft will fly from São Paulo to destinations including Orlando, Miami, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris and London. And while in the air, passengers will be able to enjoy all 10 films of the Star Wars Collection on LATAM’s onboard entertainment platform, LATAM Play.
