BIG Changes Were Just Made to Disney World’s Vacation Booking Process

When it comes to a Walt Disney World vacation, half of the fun is the excitement that comes from planning. Which Disney Park to visit, how many days to stay, where to stay at-there’s so many fun questions to ask.

But one of the most exciting aspects is choosing the right Disney World Resort hotel to stay at. Whether you’re searching for a deluxe Resort, a moderate Resort, or a value Resort, Walt Disney World has it all.

All in all, there are dozens of Disney World Resorts to choose from, making the choice difficult. As if it couldn’t get any more confusing, once you’ve chosen the right Disney Resort hotel for you, you’re also tasked with finding the right room.

Luckily, some changes have been made that will simplify the entire process.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa DVC Room

If you’ve planned a Walt Disney World vacation before, you can probably remember how many options there were when booking a room. Not only did you have to choose the specific room size, but then you had to choose the room type as well.

But thanks to the new changes, there are only three main categories of room types: Resort view, theme park view, and water view. Each of these room types will only be shown when available and applicable.

Some of the room types change depending on which Disney World Resort hotel the user is viewing, as well. To see these new changes, simply visit Walt Disney World’s official website and check out any deluxe Resort, moderate Resort, or value Resort. And if you get a headstart on your next Disney vacation, it’s just a win/win!

Uncontrollable, Brutal Brawl Breaks Out in Magic Kingdom

An uncontrollable fistfight went viral after Guests were seen fighting in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” However, there are times when it seems that some Disney decide to ruin the magical fun for others. Home to four theme parks– Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Dinsey’s Hollywood Studios. Disney World is no stranger to hosting Guests, but there have been several unruly visitors as of late, and this behavior has caused major issues in Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney World is a place of happiness and excitement, but even it is not immune to occasional incidents involving unruly Guests. These incidents, however infrequent, may involve disagreements, arguments, or altercations between individuals. In such instances, Disney’s security personnel are trained to intervene promptly and resolve the situation in a calm and professional manner. Disney World’s security team will work diligently to de-escalate the situation and, if necessary, involve local law enforcement authorities. They prioritize the safety and comfort of all Guests, ensuring that any disruptive behavior is swiftly addressed and appropriate actions are taken.

MasterGraceyJr tweeted a video of a brawl that happened at Disney World this week. These Guests can be seen punching and pulling one another. The fight gets out of control as several adults fight while a Disney Cast Member pleads with them to stop. This incident happened in front of the Train Station at Magic Kingdom Park. While we are unsure what started this brawl, it is never okay to resort to violence in Disney World.

Disney Cast Members and Security handled this situation, and there has been no confirmation if these Guests were arrested, but they were all almost surely given bans and trespassed from the property. Disney can remove Guests for any reason they see necessary. Guests can be banned for life, removed from the Parks, and much more for the safety of others.

It is important to note that instances of Guest fighting or violence within the theme park are exceedingly rare and not condoned by the Park’s management or its dedicated Cast Members.

Child Nearly Dies During Freak Incident at Walt Disney World

Guests vacation at Walt Disney World Resort to escape real life. Few Guests worry for their safety at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But things can change in a millisecond, even at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Reddit user u/Brandinian recently recalled the time a Disney Character Performer dressed as Genie from Aladdin (1992) saved his life.

“When I was young (around 1995), my family took a day trip to Disney World,” they wrote. “I was in Magic Kingdom and started choking on a grape. My mom freaked out and my step-dad didn’t immediately see it, but the Cast Member dressed as the Genie snapped into action, rushed to my aid, and Heimlich maneuvered me until the grape came out.”

“If anyone has a friend who worked as the Genie in 1995 or so, thank them for saving my life. Or blame them. Depends on your perspective,” the Guest joked.

Hundreds of Disney Parks fans upvoted the post, which reminded us all that Disney Cast Members really are the magic. Many go above and beyond daily, making unforgettable memories with Guests of all ages.

In a recent viral video, Disney Cast Members walked a tiny Guest dressed as a Haunted Mansion maid to the front of the attraction at Magic Kingdom Park. They “hired” her on the spot, making her feel like a VIP at the attraction and undoubtedly giving her an experience she’ll cherish for life.
