Aerosmith Member Visits Disney World Amid Controversy

Amid the fierce controversy involving alleged sexual misconduct, one of Aerosmith’s leading members made an appearance at Disney.

The Disney Parks and Resorts are some of the most popular vacation destinations in the entire world. Both Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, are some of the most popular and most-visited places on earth, with millions of Guests visiting each year.

However, it’s not just regular people like you and me who visit, with dozens of celebrities being spotted inside the gates.

Perhaps the most notorious Guests that visit Disney are the Kardashians. The family has celebrated many kids’ birthdays at the Disney theme parks. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are particularly familiar with the park since they have not only celebrated their daughter, North’s, birthday there, but they have experienced multiple VIP tours!

It’s not a surprise that celebrities crave the Disney Park experience as much as we do. From delicious snacks and treats to fantastic shopping destinations, the Walt Disney World is known for a lot of things. However, the biggest draw of “The Most Magical Place on Earth” has to be the incredible rides and attractions sprinkled throughout each theme park.

When visiting the Orlando, Florida Resort, Guests have the choice between Magic Kingdom, animal Kingdon, EPCOT, and of course, Hollywood Studios. Guests will find classic dark rides like Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan’s Flight, as well as thrilling, high-speed adventures like Expedition Everest and Test Track. However, perhaps the most thrilling ride in all of Walt Disney World is Rock ‘n Roller Coaster.

This exhilarating roller coaster can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This attraction is unique in that it is a collaboration between Disney and the legendary rock band Aerosmith. During the attraction, Guests will encounter the entire crew, including Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford.

Recently, Guests spotted Joe Perry visiting Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort.

This visit comes at a very interesting time, with Aerosmith’s frontman Steven Tyler facing some serious backlash for his alleged sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to a lawsuit that was obtained by Rolling Stone, Tyler brought Julia Holcomb– who was 16 at the time– back to his hotel room, and they discussed her age, as well as her troubled home life. Tyler then allegedly “performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon” her before sending her home the next morning.

After these allegations first emerged, rumors started swirling around Disney, potentially retheming this attraction. Nothing has been officially announced. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster closed down in February for an extensive refurbishment, one that will last until Summer. This also fed back into rumors, leaving Guests wondering what all Disney might do while the ride is offline.

Former President Barack Obama Kicked Out of Disneyland

Disneyland Resort, home to two theme parks in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, brings in millions of Guests each year to enjoy iconic and thrilling attractions, magical entertainment offerings, and make memories that last a lifetime.

If you’re visiting Disneyland Park, you’re likely to enjoy some of the more classic rides like Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones Adventure, “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Space Mountain. The classic attraction Splash Mountain is still located inside the Anaheim theme park, as well, but you only have a short time left to ride it until it closes permanently to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Because there are so many magical attractions and experiences inside Disneyland, it should come as no surprise that celebrities from far and wide also choose to spend their days at “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

An interesting story from former President Barack Obama recently resurfaced on Insider when he shared that he was once kicked out of Disneyland. Obama shared that he was a college student at the time, attending Occidental College, when he and a few friends were caught smoking on the Gondolas.

“These were cigarettes, people,” Obama clarified when he received an outburst of applause. “Terrible thing, but I’m a teenager, I’m rebellious.”

As they got off the Gondolas, which were removed in 1994, he said they were approached by “large Disneyland security guards” who escorted them out of the theme park.

“They say, ‘Sir, can you come with us?’” Obama said. “And they escorted us out of Disneyland. This is a true story, everybody. I was booted from the Magic Kingdom.”

Of course, this wasn’t actually at Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando but rather at Disneyland Park in Anaheim. Though he was told he had to leave that day, Obama said he wasn’t issued a ban and was allowed to return to the Disney Park moving forward.

He’s not the only celebrity to have a “run-in” with Disney security.

Rebel Wilson shared recently that she was banned for 30 days from Disneyland after taking an “inappropriate bathroom selfie.” Blake Lively shared a story once that she was banned for an entire from Disney when she was just six years old after her and her brother attempted to sneak into the theme park.

One area that has gotten many Guests kicked out of Disney is dress code. Rockstar Bruce Springsteen and E-street Guitarist Steven Van Zandt were kicked out of “The Happiest Place on Earth” after their attire didn’t match Disney’s dress code.

If you don’t want to meet the fate that some of these celebrities met in their past, it’s important to adhere to Disney’s rules and policies. The official rules section for Disney can be found here. Disney is a family-friendly theme park, and there is an expectation that Guests will adhere to posted signs, refrain from profanity, will not attempt to carry in prohibited items, and will listen to directions given by Disney Cast Members.

Failure to do any of the following can result in being escorted out of the Park, banned from Disney property, or even arrested, depending on the severity of the situation.

Guest Accidentally Drops Phone In Body of Water, But Captures a Moment of Disney Magic

Disneyland Resort is known as the Happiest Place on Earth, and that’s certainly true. Even when one Guest made the ultimate mistake and dropped their phone into a body of water, they were still able to capture a moment of Disney magic.

Disneyland Park is full of the original Disney magic, with Sleeping Beauty Castle welcoming Guests every single day. But nothing sums the magic up better than Snow White’s Wishing Well.

In the Snow White Grotto lies Snow White’s iconic wishing well, where she first appears to audiences, singing and wishing for her dashing prince.

In this tranquil area, Guests can make a wish themselves, or take photos with the beautiful, picturesque scenery in the background. However, one Guest got more than they bargained for when they tried to take a photo at the well.

TikTok user @toodarling was visiting Disneyland Resort with a friend when they decided to take a picture. The two were dressed as Peter Pan and Wendy in an impressive cosplay. Wanting to take advantage of the beautiful area and intricate costumes, they attempted to take a picture by propping the phone up on Snow White’s Wishing Well.

What ensued was chaos.  The happiest chaos on Earth that is.

@toodarling

I realize it was dumb to prop my phone on there but we all make mistakes. Please don’t do this on purpose. Cast members deal with enough 😅 Before you ask! Adults can wear costumes to Disney’s special ticketed events, we were there for Princess Night 💕 #disneyland #princessnite #peterpan #snowwhite #thatmademecry

In this video, we can see that they stay put as their friend finds a Cast Member to help. However, while waiting, the Peter Pan cosplayer draws a small crowd, who marvel at the phone lost in the well, which continues recording!

Although it started out as a mistake, this moment drew complete strangers together for a moment of Disney magic!

Monorail’s Concrete Support Beams Crumble

Disney fans have begun to panic after seeing some terrifying images surface on the internet. The photos show a major infrastructure concern that could potentially be extremely dangerous. With no sign of Disney doing any maintenance to remedy the situation, the public has begun to panic.

One thing to know about Walt Disney World Resort is that it is massive. The Resort sits on 43 square miles of the property, making it way bigger than Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. There is so much to see and do inside Walt Disney World Resort, but because everything is so spread out, navigating yourself can be difficult.

Driving your own car can be time-consuming with traffic and parking and getting an Uber or a Minnie van can be expensive. Luckily, Disney does offer some complimentary transportation options for Guests to use.

Guests can use Disney’s busses, ferryboats, water taxis, Skyliner, and monorail to get around the Resort. For many Guests, taking the monorail is the preferred option. The Walt Disney World Monorail System is an elevated transportation system that is used to take Guests to different areas of the Resort. The monorail is supported by concrete beams that extend up into the air.

Theme Park photographer @bioreconstruct snapped a photograph that showed some troubling “concrete problems” on one of the support beams for the monorail. The beam looks to be in horrible condition, and Guests are very concerned about the safety issue of the damage. The beam that is crumbling is on the EPCOT monorail track near The Seas Pavilion in Future World at EPCOT.

Guests have begun to panic over the safety of the monorail. One user comments, “Welp, guess it’s driving to EPCOT only for a while.” Many Guests wonder if the Monorail beam will be able to handle the heavy load for much longer. It is a shame to see the infrastructure of Walt Disney World in such bad shape. Hopefully, Disney gets to work and service this issue as soon as possible.

Disney Announces Star Tours Updates in 2024

Via DisneyLists.com

This past weekend many announcements came out of Star Wars Celebration 2023. One of those announcements was that at Disney Parks around the world, Star Tours is set to get updates next year.

From a Disney Cast Member;

Bright Suns! I’m writing to you from London, where we just wrapped our Walt Disney Imagineering panel at Star Wars Celebration 2023. I was thrilled to join Imagineers Ann Morrow Johnson and Asa Kalama, as well as Matt Martin from Lucasfilm as we talked about how Star Wars comes to life at Disney parks. This was the first Celebration in Europe since 2016, so I really enjoyed spending the weekend here reconnecting with Star Wars and Disney fans from this part of the world (and beyond).

Today we made several exciting announcements related to Star Wars and Disney parks, so I wanted to make sure you heard all the news … beginning with the attraction that started it all for us in this galaxy far, far away …

In 2024, we’re going to add more stories and characters to Star Tours at three of our destinations around the world – Disneyland park in California, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, and Disneyland Paris in France. Since it debuted at Disneyland in 1987 as the first Star Wars attraction in a Disney park, Star Tours has traveled to new places as this galaxy of stories expanded. We’re looking forward to continuing that tradition next year with all new adventures … but I can’t reveal just where we’re going yet – or those we may meet along the way – because … well … some surprises are best experienced as part of the upcoming Star Wars content also announced this weekend. Here’s hoping C-3PO’s piloting skills have improved!

And speaking of Starspeeder pilots, be sure to check out the new playlist from DJ R3X we just released, featuring more of his favorite tracks you may hear when you visit Oga’s Cantina on Batuu. Turns out R3X may just be a better DJ than pilot … but don’t tell him I said that.

We also announced a new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser playlist will launch next month on streaming platforms to celebrate May the 4th. This soundtrack includes songs from galactic superstar Gaya, who performs aboard the Halcyon starcruiser as part of that amazing, fully immersive experience.

We’re also working on a special 12-inch vinyl pressing of Gaya’s music, so be on the lookout for that.

We had such a great time on the panel and meeting fans this weekend. We work hard to create all of these experiences for you because … we’re Star Wars fans, too! We look forward to the places we’ll go and the stories we can explore together next. So hopefully I’ll see you somewhere out there on the hyperspace routes.
