“Enchanted” Sequel, “Disenchanted”, To Begin Filming

We previously shared the exciting news from Disney’s Investor Day that a sequel to “Enchanted” called “Disenchanted” would be coming to Disney+ with Amy Adams returning as Giselle! As if that wasn’t exciting enough, a few weeks later we learned that Patrick Dempsey would be returning as Robert Phillip. Now we’re learning “Disenchanted” is scheduled to begin filming this Spring!

As shared via TheDisInsider: It looks like the gears are turning and the film will hit production soon. Disenchanted will begin filming this Spring in Ireland. The news is interesting as the first film took place in New York, and it should be noted that Ireland looks like the land of Andalasia, the animated land Giselle is from.

Fantasmic! Still Drained at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Via DisneyTips.com

The battle of good vs. evil has been halted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios since COVID-19 shut the parks down in March 2020. With a recent update to Disney’s digital map, we were excited to see Fantasmic! received a new, updated look. We’ve been hopeful this could be a good sign! However, Bioreconstruct took to Twitter on January 16 to share three aerial photos of the Fantasmic! stadium still drained.

So why did Disney put effort into a new look when this nighttime experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is currently closed? Unfortunately, there is no word from Disney when Fantasmic! may debut once again. Rumors however are flurrying that this is a great sign the experience may reopen soon enough. The outdoor stadium can seat just under 7,000 guests. With social distancing obviously this number would be much lower… but there’s still enough room for it possibly reopen.

Yesterday was a historic day here in the United States. The 46th President, Joe Biden, has been sworn into office on January 20, 2021. While we awoke to find Magic Kingdom’s Hall of Presidents closed for refurbishment, we are also learning that a Disney World spokesperson has confirmed the 46th President will be joining The Hall of Presidents, debunking a Muppets rumor.

If you hadn’t heard, there was a rumor floating around that The Hall of Presidents could be replaced by a Muppets attraction. There was absolutely no source and no word from Disney that this rumor would be brought to fruition. As shared by OrlandoSentinel: “A Disney World spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday morning (Jan. 20) that the attraction will be updated with a Biden figure.” Thankfully, this debunks the Muppets rumor.
