Via DisDining.com

If you’ve ever stayed at one of Walt Disney World’s Resorts that boarders the Seven Seas Lagoon, chances are you’ve had a chance to spot the Electrical Water Pageant. Colorful barges cruise by slowly with special music for a perfect way to end the day. Well, sadly, the Electrical Water Pageant has been temporarily unavailable since Disney’s COVID-19 closure. We may be seeing progress however as the barges were spotted on the water!

Hong Kong Disneyland will temporarily close on December 2. A reopening date is not yet announced, and the park is also scheduled to be closed on December 1.

This is now the third time Hong Kong Disneyland has been forced to close. The struggling park was originally closed from January 25th through June 18th, and again from July 15th through September 25th. They join Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris in being closed, leaving only Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Shanghai Disneyland operating.

The closure comes shortly after the completion and opening of the Castle of Magical Dreams and the launch of their “15 Years of Magical Dreams” anniversary celebration just under two weeks ago. The new regulations go into effect starting this Wednesday and will last for at least two weeks.

“The Mandalorian” Is First Disney+ Show to Rank on Nielsen’s Top 10 Streaming List

Via wdwnt.com

The Mandalorian is now the first show from Disney+ to rank on Nielsen’s Top 10 Streaming list. It made the list for the week of October 26, 2020, through November 1, 2020.

The Mandalorian is ranked at number three, behind The Queen’s Gambit and The Office on Netflix. In fact, the other nine shows on the list are from Netflix. The list is below.

RankSVOD ProviderProgram Name# of EpisodesMinutes (Millions)
1NetflixTHE QUEEN’S GAMBIT (2020)71,850

Nielsen ranks streaming shows based on the number of minutes viewers are streaming each week. When it comes to platforms like Netflix that do not release streaming numbers, Neislen estimates. Nielsen includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+ in its streaming measurements.

The nine episodes of The Mandalorian available during that week (season 1 and the first episode of season 2) were streamed for 1,032 million minutes by viewers. It will likely remain in the top 10, and maybe even rank higher as Nielsen continues to rank the weeks during which a new episode aired. The final episode of this season will debut on December 18, 2020.

This exciting season of The Mandalorian has been chock full of both character and performer cameos. Most recently, Disney Legend Wing T. Chao appeared as Governor Wing.
