Now that Walt Disney World’s theme parks are finally reopening to guests, now available is the merchandise that was created for events that were supposed to happen during the shutdown.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a display of the limited edition MagicBands that are finally on sale.
Included were the Mulan “Strong Chi” and Father’s Day 2020 MagicBands…
And the Knowsmore Graduation MagicBand, are a pair of MagicBands for Earth Day and Mother’s Day!
Earth Day 2020’s MagicBand features a robot with a very eco-friendly directive, EVE! The top of the box features the robot with the fateful plant that would change her existance.
Meanwhile, one of the most tender scenes in Disney animation history appears on the Mother’s Day 2020 MagicBand.
The MagicBands retail for $34.99 each and can be found at Discovery Trading Company.
With the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopening to guests today, it’s time to head back into the magic! However, if you weren’t lucky enough to snag an Annual Pass or renew yours before the parks shut down due to COVID-19, Cast Members at the Guest Services windows at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning have confirmed that pass purchases and renewals are currently available.
If you head to the ticket booth located outside the open theme parks today, guests have been able to renew or purchase Annual Passes once again for 2020, and the monthly payment option is available as well.
Taking a look at the Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket web page currently, only day tickets are listed as options for purchasing 2020/2021 tickets, but we’ll continue to check back throughout the day and update this story if they become available online.
Remember, even after you purchase an Annual Pass, guests with valid admission are still required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry, so be sure to check the park reservation availability calendar before purchasing any new tickets and then go directly to DisneyWorld.com/DisneyParkPass after your purchase to make your park reservations. Reservations are limited and subject to availability.

t’s the world according to Goofy! In lieu of traditional character meet and greets or stage shows, Magic Kingdom has implemented character cavalcades and processionals throughout the park, allowing guests to take socially-distanced selfies and videos of their favorite characters. Announced as part of the park reopening entertainment in the Magic Kingdom, there are five differently-themed character experiences:
The Royal Princess Processional
Mickey & Friends Cavalcade
Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade
A Goofy Cavalcade
Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure
One of the cavalcades we are most excited for was the “A Goofy Cavalcade” which features our pal Goofy, Max, Clarabelle Cow, Panchito, and José Carioca.
Here comes Goofy and the gang!
This is such a nice way to still include characters in the park while still spreading Disney magic. You can check out “A Goofy Cavalcade” from WDWNT below!
