Although Marvel’s “Black Widow” movie has been delayed due to the pandemic, we’re still lucky enough to snag some merchandise featuring the deadly assassin herself while we wait for the film to be released a few months later on November 6, 2020.
Black Widow MagicBand 2 – Limited Edition – $34.99
The Limited Edition MagicBand features Natasha Romanoff as the Black Widow, with the “Black Widow” movie title printed above her. This artwork is similar to that on the first theatrical released poster for the film, which was meant to debut on May 1.
The MagicBand features a black center puck and Black Widow’s red logo in a fun print on the other side, made up of red and black shapes and silhouettes.
The collector’s box features Natasha Romanoff in comic-style artwork, along with her Black Widow logo and even a little Black Widow spider hanging down from the top. This MagicBand is a limited edition of 1,500 and replaces the cartoon style artwork of the previous Black Widow MagicBand that was released three years ago.
There’s a 104 days of quarantine… wait, no, it’s summer vacation! And although some of our summer vacations may look different, it seems that Phineas and Ferb are still up to their usual summer fun in an all-new movie for Disney+!
“Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against The Universe” will be coming to Disney+ this Summer after being announced at the D23 Expo last August.
As part of the #DisneyBundle that Disney, Hulu, and ESPN+ are doing today for National Streaming Day, Disney released a sneak peek of photos from the new movie!

In “Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe,” currently in production for the new streaming service, stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb travel across the galaxy to rescue their sister Candace, who has been abducted by aliens and has found utopia in a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers.
“Phineas and Ferb” creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are back as executive producers on the movie, while also reprising their roles are Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn; Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn; Caroline Rhea as their mom, Linda; Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus; Alyson Stoner as Isabella; Maulik Pancholy as Baljeet; Bobby Gaylor as Buford; Olivia Olson as Vanessa; Tyler Mann as Carl; and Povenmire and Marsh as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, respectively. David Errigo Jr. joins the cast as Ferb Fletcher.”
Summer vacation seems like it’s about to get more interesting as Candace takes on much more than her little brother’s antics. Although we don’t have an official release date, summer is quickly approaching, so we should know soon when this new movie will be available for streaming.

Even though the Muppets can’t seem to decide on the right key art for the new “Muppets Now” original series, we hope they’ll pull themselves together before it becomes available on July 31 in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and India.

The announcement was made via the shopDisney Instagram page. No details are available on release times, but keep an eye on “New Arrivals” and you should see when the bears make their big encore. Each blind bag (and the Big Al standalone plush) costs $9.99.
One of the biggest media events of the 90’s helped to kill “Gargoyles,” according to show’s creator in a new interview.
In a retrospective interview with Polygon‘s Tasha Robinson, creator Greg Weisman claims that The Disney Afternoon show’s cancellation was made in part because the show kept being preempted for coverage of the murder trial of former football star O. J. Simpson, making it hard for the show to retain its audience.
As Weisman explained:
“The OJ Simpson trial meant we were constantly being preempted for trial coverage, because we were on syndicated stations, and syndicated stations still primarily lived off local news in the 1990s. Every day it ran, we were being preempted, and in any given city, people were missing episodes of Gargoyles, and falling out of the habit of watching it.”
While the high-profile trial was just one factor for the show’s ending, Weisman also cited other reasons in the review, including only being able to produce 31 of 52 contracted episodes by Fall 1995, the show’s producers leaving Disney for DreamWorks in the wake of former chairman of Walt Disney Studios Jeffrey Katzenberg’s departure from the company, the complete behind-the-scenes structural changes as the show moved from syndicated weekday afternoons to Saturday morning on ABC, and the premiere of another kids’ powerhouse of the decade, “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.”
