Disney Parks Artist Studio Added To My Disney Experience App

If you’re stuck at home checking My Disney Experience out of sheer habit or looking back at your PhotoPass memories for a daily dose of happiness, you’ll find that there have been a few fun additions to the app while the parks are closed. Recent notifications have been sent out advertising games on the Play! Disney Parks app for “Mickey & Minnie’s Trivia Time”, which first debuted with the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but can also be played at home!

Now, a new section of the My Disney Experience app has added called the “Disney Parks Artist Studio”, where you can learn how to draw a number of your favorite characters. Currently, the first (and only) character available is of course, Mickey Mouse.

Upon opening the My Disney Experience app, just scroll down until you see the Disney Parks Artist Studio logo and hit “Watch Video”. The video will then boot up and begin playing, with each step outlined in a short series of videos, much like an Instagram story.

Disneyland Dapper Dans Give At-Home Performance

Disney Parks may be closed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but thankfully, the Dapper Dans from Disneyland are coming to us with their first-ever at-home performance. With their happy harmonizing, the Dapper Dans are an iconic part of the Main Street, U.S.A., and now, we can see them from the comfort of our homes.

From Burbank, California to Houston Texas, the Disneyland Dapper Dans jumped online at home to sing one of their all-time favorite songs “When You Wish Upon A Star.” The song is just one of many others from a Dapper Dans song list that includes the popular “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and “When I See An Elephant Fly.”

For their next performance, you can head on over to the Disney Parks Blog and vote for what song you’d like to see them harmonize to next. (I’m loving that “Grim Grinning Ghosts” is in the lead right now!) Thanks, Dapper Dans, for that amazing performance!
