“Garden Rocks” Concert Series @ Epcot Full Lineup Announced

We have our first look at the upcoming “Garden Rocks” Concert Series happening yearly at EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival. Starting in March and going through the beginning of June, we have some tried and true acts, (where are my Simple Plan fans at), and some that will be joining for the first time – (who’s ready to sing Bye Bye Miss American Pie with Don McLean?).

Speaking of “American Pie,” how great will these concerts sound from the brand new Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Pavilion? To be able to sit out under the stars and hear these awesome FREE shows while enjoying the sweet smell of some American BBQ will be a great addition to this years concert series.

For those that want to get a little closer view of the performers, the shows take place nightly at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and a final show at 8:00PM in the American Gardens Theater By The Shore in the American Pavilion.

Dick Van Dyke Poses With Bert Animatronic From The Great Movie Ride

While Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is getting closer to its March 4th opening, many of us are still deeply mourning the loss of The Great Movie Ride. That being said, it’s nice to see at least one piece of the ride has found a good home!

In a new political endorsement video for Bernie Sanders, Dick Van Dyke can be seen with the audio-animatronic Bert from the Mary Poppins scene of the ride!

The Great Movie Ride opened on May 1, 1989 and closed August 13, 2017, almost three years ago. The now 31-year-old audio-animatronic still looks great next to his living counterpart, though he seems to be missing part of his chimney sweep.

Disney+ Series “The Maze” Holds Casting Call

The upcoming Disney+ Original Series, “The Maze” is looking for their first tag-team adventurers! The show creators, who are executive producers of “The Amazing Race” have created a similar show for Disney+ that is sure to put a Disney twist on the popular adventure puzzle show concept.

“The Maze” will feature teams of two family members, one adult and one tween/teen (age 11-15) on an adventure to unlock clues and solve puzzles. Guided by wizards and eccentric characters, as its explained on the job posting, teams will be whisked through fairy-tale lands of old European cities and villages. Once the teams have reached their final destination, they will in fact have to solve, you guessed it, an actual maze.

If you feel like this adventure is calling out to you and your family, you can apply today at the shows casting call here.
