“The Muppets Present… Great Moments In History” To Return On For Limited Time

“The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” will return to the Magic Kingdom Park once again for a limited time. The show will take place daily February 15 through February 17, 2020.

Show times will be 10:05 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:35 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:05 p.m., 1:40 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 4:45 p.m., and 5:15 p.m. Sadly, only the “Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” show will be performing during this run.

Hong Kong Disneyland Closing Resort Hotel Restaurants Due To Coronavirus

Despite leaving their resort hotels open while the park has been closed for a week now, Hong Kong Disneyland has decided to close the restaurants at said hotels as a precaution against the spread of the Coronavirus.

The hotel restaurants were closed beginning on February 1st, 2020. It remains unclear when operations might return to normal, at least at this time.

As you might guess, we still do not know how long the Hong Kong Disneyland park closure will last. Shanghai Disney Resort has also been closed since January 25.

According to CNN, at least 213 people are dead and more than 9,709 cases have been confirmed in mainland China, as the virus spreads globally.

Mulan Trailer The Aired During The Super Bowl

Football fans tuning into Super Bowl LIV were in for a very special treat as Disney aired a new trailer for their upcoming live-action release of ‘Mulan.’

Let’s take a look: 

The film will be released in theaters across the country on March 27, 2020, and recounts the epic tale of China’s legendary warrior Mulan.

Disney’s synopsis for the film is as follows: 

When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father. “Mulan” features a celebrated international cast that includes: Yifei Liu as Mulan; Donnie Yen as Commander Tung; Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan; Yoson An as Cheng Honghui; with Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. Isla FIsher To Star In New Disney+ Original Movie “Godmothered”

Production has commenced in Boston on “Godmothered,” an original live-action movie for Disney+ starring Isla Fisher (“Confessions of a Shopaholic,” “Wedding Crashers”) and Jillian Bell (“Brittany Runs a Marathon,” “Rough Night”), directed by Sharon Maguire (“Bridget Jones’s Diary,” “Bridget Jones’s Baby”). The screenplay is by Kari Granlund (“Lady and the Tramp”) and Melissa K. Stack (“The Other Woman”). The film is produced by Justin Springer (“Dumbo,” “TRON: Legacy”), with Ivan Reitman (“Ghostbusters”), Tom Pollock (the upcoming “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”), Amie Karp (the upcoming “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”) and Diane L. Sabatini (“Lady and the Tramp”) serving as executive producers.  

Set at Christmas time, “Godmothered” is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Bell) who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 12-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.  

Joining Bell and Fisher in supporting roles are Emmy winner Jane Curtin (“Kate & Allie,” “Saturday Night Live”) as headmistress of The Motherland, Jillian Shea Spaeder (“Walk The Prank”) and Willa Skye (“Lazy Susan”) as Mackenzie’s young daughters, Mary Elizabeth Ellis (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) as her sister, and Santiago Cabrera (“Star Trek: Picard”), Artemis Pebdani (“Scandal”), Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Brittany Runs a Marathon”) and Stephnie Weir (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) as colleagues at the TV news station where Mackenzie works. June Squibb (Oscar nominee for “Nebraska”) and Carlease Burke (“Child’s Play”) appear as godmothers populating The Motherland.
