Park hours at Magic Kingdom have been extended on certain dates in October and November. Guests planning on visiting the park on the affected dates should make note of the later closing time for the Magic Kingdom.

Disney just revealed two more stars who are slated to appear at the Candlelight Processional as part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. The Festival of the Holidays is a park-wide celebration with glittering decorations, music and entertainment, and delectable treats. The Festival kicks off Nov. 29. and will continue through Dec. 30, 2019.
The two stars that were added to the lineup includes film and television actress, director and wildlife conservationist Isabella Rossellini on Dec. 8-10; and actress, author, activist and Oscar winner Marlee Matlin on Dec. 27-28. They join an amazing cast of narrators that begins with Ming-Na Wen, actress and voice of Disney animated heroine Mulan on Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
Held in the America Gardens Theatre, the Candlelight Processional combines the talents of a live orchestra, massed choir and celebrity narrator in the retelling of the traditional Christmas story!

The Candlelight Processional is performed three times per night (5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.), and guaranteed seating is available by booking a breakfast, lunch or dinner Candlelight Processional Dining Package at select Epcot dining locations.
Scat Cat’s Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter is about to close for a refurbishment for the club to expand to a larger space to serve up your favorite beverages and bar options that offer you a taste of the “Big Easy.” Scat Cat’s Club will continue to keep the entertainment authentic to the New Orleans story by featuring live jazz music five nights a week.
I know what you’re thinking, with the expansion of Scat Cat’s Club, where am I going to get the famous beignets? Well don’t worry, the beignets will soon be available throughout the day at Scat’s Cat Club – Cafe, an all-new location near the lobby. The beignets are made in-house daily, available in classic as well as a seasonal flavor, my favorite are the pumpkin spice beignets!
If you love “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth”, you still have a few nights left to catch this classic Epcot show before its final bow on September 30, 2019. The nighttime spectacular started as part of the Millennium Celebration in October 1999, and has touched the hearts millions of guests over the past two decades.
Now, after a 20-year run, “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” at Epcot will soon be replaced with the limited-time show, “Epcot Forever” and then in 2020 with the new nighttime spectacular, “HarmonioUS.”
So make the most of your trip to see the final showings of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” and experience the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival taking place right now as well. If you miss “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” on October 1 you can see the all-new fireworks spectacular, “Epcot Forever.”
Cast members from Disney’s Hollywood Studios were recently treated to a surprise sneak peek of the progress at the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction. Disney Parks, Experiences & Products Chairman Bob Chapek surprised the Walt Disney World cast members with the very first sneak peek of the attraction, which will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in spring 2020.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will put guests inside the world of Disney Channel’s Emmy® Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts. Once they step into the cartoon world, they’ll board a train. But with Goofy as the engineer get ready for an out-of-control adventure filled with surprising twists and turns. The original attraction will feature a lovable theme song, state-of-the-art technologies and amazing visual effects to create an unforgettable multidimensional experience.
