Walt Disney Studios announced the new film ‘Cruella,’ at the D23 Expo. The new movie will star Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil! The film, also starring Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, comes to theaters May 28, 2021.
Cast of Marvel’s “The Eternals” Debuts on Stage at D23
At the D23 Expo, Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, introduced the cast of Marvel Studios’ “The Eternals.” The cast on stage included:
- Salma Hayek
- Angelina Jolie
- Richard Madden
- Brian Tyree Henry
- Lia McHugh
- Kumail Nanjiani
- Lauren Ridloff
- Don Lee
But Feige said the cast was not complete, as he introduced new members of the cast: Barry Keoghan, playing “Druig” and Gemma Chan who will be playing “Sersi.” Kit Harrington will be playing “Dane Whitman,” who is not an Eternal character but Black Knight from the Marvel comics.
Marvel’s ‘The Eternals’ is expected to hit theaters November 6, 2020.
Avengers: Endgame Will be Added to Disney+
“Avengers: Endgame” will be available to stream starting December 11th, 2019, along with a slew of other Marvel content.
The Disney+ streaming service launches on November 12th, 2019.
Black Panther 2 Date Announced
At the Walt Disney Studios panel at the D23 Expo, Marvel Studios announced the release date for the sequel, Black Panther II.
The movie will hit theaters May 6, 2022 and Ryan Coogler will return to direct the film. Coogler said that they’re “taking their time to make it right” and joked with Kevin Feige about how it was too early to reveal the title of the film just yet.
New Star Wars Poster Confirms Rumors
The new poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was just revealed at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. As you can see Kylo Ren and Rey are battling each other with Emperor Palpatine watching from above.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will debut in theaters on December 20, 2019.
